Strangers are friends you just haven't met, yet. Even when they are baddies and drive science-fiction-y submarines, wearing a smart grey lounge suit.

Thanks for the entertainment, Maud, I love that one

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 05/05/2011 22:28

Eek. Does anyone know how to unhide a thread? I seem to have hidden this one and can only sneak back on by subterfuge.

::Consoles self with Wine::

SupermassiveLBD · 05/05/2011 22:34

No, sorry, no idea, Maud. I didn't know you could hide threads.

OP posts:
PassTheTwiglets · 05/05/2011 22:37

AAAARRRGGGHHH, STOOPID FILM!!!!!!! There was a resolve but I didn't underastand a flipping word of it!!

SupermassiveLBD · 05/05/2011 22:39

But was it worth it for the view, Twigs? That's the main thing.

OP posts:
PassTheTwiglets · 05/05/2011 22:42

No it wasn't worth it for that, Massive. He wasn't in it that much and the end was so frustrating that I wish I hadn't watched the stoopid thing.

SupermassiveLBD · 05/05/2011 22:48

I hope it didn't cost you too much then, Twigs.

OP posts:
PassTheTwiglets · 05/05/2011 22:59

Nah it was only about £3... Spiro, I need you to finish watching it and tell me WTF happened!

Oh, did I tell you what DD said about "WTF" the other day? I don't know if it works when written down but it was so funny! Something happened that she didn't understand and she said "wooft?!" I asked her what she meant and she said "it's what you say when you are surprised - it's spelled 'WFT' and you say it as a question, like "wooft?! " (She'd seen it written down but transposed the letters and she thought it was a word). So "wooft" is now a favourite word of mine and DrTwigs :)

I am off to bed now. Nighty night all!

SupermassiveLBD · 05/05/2011 23:03

Wooft is wonderful, can i use it too? Nighty night Twiggy, wishing you very un-Frozen dreams.

OP posts:
ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 05/05/2011 23:04

Night, night Twiggy!

I have had to e-mail MN Towers to ask for help in unhiding this thread. I am such a dork.

SupermassiveLBD · 05/05/2011 23:07

And you actually had to name the thread ? Oh, the shame! Blush

OP posts:
ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 05/05/2011 23:15

Err, no, I just sought advice in general terms about how to, ahem, reveal a thread.

Wow. M&S are advertising a "tummy tuck" swimsuit.

::Orders entire stock::

SupermassiveLBD · 05/05/2011 23:20

Phew, that's a relief, Maud, though I suppose ours aren't as bad as the Twisluts ones.

OP posts:
ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 05/05/2011 23:31

M&S do bum lift pants - so ::cough:: someone told me - so perhaps they could be incorporated into the swimsuit. Actually, I think I might get a Nigella-style burkini.

::Still waiting for MN Emergency Services to unmask this thread for me::

SupermassiveLBD · 05/05/2011 23:36

I think I'll just go for the the Dolce & Gabbana invisibility cloak I saw advertised the other day. Or was that in one of my dreams?

OP posts:
ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 05/05/2011 23:42

Would that be for your cloak and dagger assignations with a certain gentleman, Massive?

SupermassiveLBD · 05/05/2011 23:51

What gentleman? I don't know any gentlemen It would certainly come in useful wouldn't it? No I was thinking more of not exposing my white wobbly blancmange-like bod on the beach and frightening the donkeys.

OP posts:
SupermassiveLBD · 05/05/2011 23:57

...and so saying, she took up the candlestick in her little white hand, and trotted lightly up the stairs to rest her weary head.

Goodnight, Maud, I hope MN release you from your durance vile by the time dawn's rosy fingers poke themselves into your eye.

Mwah!!!

OP posts:
ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 05/05/2011 23:59

Goodnight, Massive!

::Goes to bed to await rosy-fingered dawn, but not in any eye-poking kind of way::

PassTheTwiglets · 06/05/2011 07:26

OMG, I just googled 'Nigella burkini' and I am utterly speechless. Now there's a perfect example of wooft?!

:@ at frightening the donkeys!

I love that M&S swimsuit! Would buy one if it weren't for the fact that I need industrial scaffolding a bit more support than that, not to mention some underwire.

I'm glad I didn't read about the invisibility cloak last night or I woudl have been extremely distRActed* by the notion!

TheSmallPrint · 06/05/2011 09:54

Morning all. I gave up on here last night as I could not get any connection at all, stupid blummin broadband is useless.

I have seen Nigellas burkini, wish I could get away with wearing that. I have a very long body and so swimsuits tend to drag down squashing already invisible bosoms into oblivion yet somehow not managing to do the same to my fat lardy belly. I need a long length belly sucking boob enhancing colourful and stylish swimsuit. Anyone?

PassTheTwiglets · 06/05/2011 11:13

Small, have you looked at Miraclesuits? I was going to buy one last year but left it too late and they had none left in stock. They are £££MEGA but you can get the on ebay or elsewhere for at least half the price...

SupermassiveLBD · 06/05/2011 16:06

Phew, definitely a wooft type day at Massive Towers. I have been missing you ladies, in the midst of my travails.

OP posts:
ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 06/05/2011 16:31

I am here and have solved my hidden thread problem, thanks to kind help from Spiro and MN Towers. I have not been abducted by the Walrus of Luurve, but since you mentioned him, perhaps we should invite him to the party tonight?

Somehow I suspect Small (aka the leggy blonde) protests too much. My worry about tankinis (for me) is that they might let lose the muffin top, which really would frighten the donkeys and any other passing wildlife. Besides, Mr Thornton finds my knee-length bathing costume and matching mob cap rather racy and thrilling and I don't want to upset him.

TheSmallPrint · 06/05/2011 16:56

Maud, I may be a leggy blond but it's more this than <a class="break-all" href="http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=i1-news.softpedia-static.com/images/news2/Heidi-Klum-does-a-fat-gaffe-2.jpg&imgrefurl=news.softpedia.com/news/Heidi-Klum-does-a-fat-gaffe-17160.shtml&usg=__Tsbf1Ocz_FZ9PMMmGRY6uCWONPA=&h=219&w=220&sz=8&hl=en&start=0&zoom=1&tbnid=pyhAZ7-FNmJvqM:&tbnh=133&tbnw=134&ei=oRnETZvzIIiT4AbJpOiCBA&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dfat%2Bblonde%26hl%3Den%26sa%3DG%26biw%3D1899%26bih%3D876%26tbm%3Disch&itbs=1&iact=rc&dur=343&page=1&ndsp=55&ved=1t:429,r:21,s:0&tx=78&ty=98" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">this !!

Tankinis do exactly what Maud feared expose my midriff which after carrying two hefalump babies is not legal to expose.

Twigs I will look into those cossies and see what might be available.
