Well, this should guarantee us some visitors if it comes up on 'Most Active'.

one for the mantelpiece

Ok, the next 2 aren't John Standring, but it would be rude not to...

yummy!

UMN Rector!

How about James Nesbitt?

SupermassiveLBD · 31/03/2011 21:30

Oh, sorry, I see what you mean, now. Blush

enjoy, Spiro. Is SR good, anyone?

TheSmallPrint · 31/03/2011 21:31

SR?

SupermassiveLBD · 31/03/2011 21:32

Dunno about a Voice voice- voice over for my trailer, do you think he could be that deep and growly?
Would sure love to hear him try.

SupermassiveLBD · 31/03/2011 21:33

Voice voice-over, I mean! Grrr!

SupermassiveLBD · 31/03/2011 21:33

SR = Shakespeare Retold, Small

cornishpasty · 31/03/2011 21:37

Night all.
Spooks 8 for me now. Not seen it since it was on the telly so can't wait.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 31/03/2011 21:39

::Recoils at the very thought of JN, who does not so much float my boat as sink it, Titanic-stylee::

I suspect Shakespeare Retold could be quite good. It has some good people in it, and not just the obvious. Is SMFV [Slippery Mouse Finger Virus, for pasty] rife on the tropical island, Massive?

TheSmallPrint · 31/03/2011 21:41

So you didn't go for my suggestion then?

SupermassiveLBD · 31/03/2011 21:47

Night cornish! Oooh, Spooks 8, delish. You won't get a wink of sleep after

Maud, I have had to put my hand in plaster over the past week, to avoid sporadic SMFV outbreaks but I fear I can't hold it off for ever.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 31/03/2011 21:48

Err, no, Small. I was thinking that perhaps the voice-over demands an American accent?

:;disloyal swoon::

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 31/03/2011 21:50

Is it Spooks 8 with all the sauciness with the American strumpet?

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 31/03/2011 21:50

Anyway, Pasty, enjoy!

SupermassiveLBD · 31/03/2011 21:51

LOL @ sinks it, Titanic-stylee

Now George is a different matter, despite his deplorable taste in coffee-alia.

SupermassiveLBD · 31/03/2011 21:54

American strumpet

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 31/03/2011 21:54

George is indeed a different matter.

::Oh swoon::

SupermassiveLBD · 31/03/2011 21:56

I meant ' Protestant whore' -- the emphasis came out all wrong grr, ruined my witty post, didn't it?

TheSmallPrint · 31/03/2011 21:57

Oh you mean Mr Small's long lost twin?

night Cornish. Enjoy Spooks Envy

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 31/03/2011 22:01

Men in uniform, eh?

I thought Mr Small was alleged to look like The Man? I remember some photographic evidence was presented at one time.

I am impressed that Massive has raised the tone again by introducing a course module on The History of the British Monarchy.

SupermassiveLBD · 31/03/2011 22:04

Wasn't it Mr Lequeen who looked like the Man? if it was Mr Small, what is Small doing here all the time Confused

Mr M doesn't look a bit like the Man, btw... He has just about the same number of eyes, though, I suppose.

SupermassiveLBD · 31/03/2011 22:07

Oh yes, Ms Caulfield as Lady Castlemaine
Lucas can squeeze my oranges any day.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 31/03/2011 22:08

So it was alleged, but I thought Mr Small was of a similar ilk. Small seems to have taken her profile down, so I can't spy on her conduct further research.

Smaaaaall - where are you? We need to ogle assess your husband.

::Perfectly reasonable request emoticon::

Bloke does not look a bit like the man, either. He has roughly the same number of limbs, though.

TheSmallPrint · 31/03/2011 22:10

No Maud he looks more like George according to lots of old biddies his only resemblance to Our Man is tall, dark (well, in his youth now much more GC like) and northern.

PassTheTwiglets · 31/03/2011 22:10

Hello, people!! Man, what a day/night that was... TwigBoy has decided he can't go more than half an hour without waking up and crying so I had about 20 minutes sleep last night and he's been clingy all day so I've had no time, really. I don't know if you remember Spiro's mention of 8.40 a being the good stuff :) - well would you believe that last night he woke up when I got to 8.35 on the vid?!?! Anyway.... on with the replies...

Cornish, hello again!! I usd to be BodenBabe in the early days, btw. You asked if we all have a secret stash - most of mine isn't secret but I have kept the odd one or two quiet :) I was very lucky to have Xmas and a birthday not long after he genesis of my obsession , so I have most things now but have yet to watch them all. Just a couple left to go. Ah yes, another DH benefitting here too... :o

Butlins - MissTwiglets is desperate to go but I always assumed that it would be unaffordable and that it would be full of screaming children. Had a quick look today and it seems unaffordable in the summer holidays but other times is much cheaper than I thought. Spiro, what's the noise level like? DrTwiglets can't cope with too much loud background noise. I am definitely more up for it having read your reports! Easter is out though, as we are off to Cambridge for the weekend, for our anniversary.

Had to give an empathetic at the mention of worms, Small. And I wish I was saying sympathetic instead of empathetic there, but sadly I'm not. The absolute nadir of parenting, as far as I'm concerned.

Spiro, I had no idea there was more Truce published!!! I read it on the phone last night. Blimey, indeed Shock Blush Grin One question though - what the heck doeds 'laved' mean?! I have never heard that word before Truce! I hate how he calls her "love" in the story - it makes him sound like a chav.

Massive, I loved your "too intellectual for our skirts" line :)

Oh and did you ever find out what the rude YT vid was? I don't remember that one but feel that I need to know :)

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 31/03/2011 22:11

And what of Lucas's are you going to squeeze, Massive?

::digs large pit in which to bury the tone::
