I'm after something about 6' tall...

I am sure we kind of gathered that already, Spiro Grin

DumSpiroSpero · 06/03/2011 23:11

I know, Massive, I read it back afterwards and realised...Freudian slip.

::Looks back at you::

You're welcome. May I share this with you? and have to hear it at least ten times a day. To quote Ms Perry, you make me feel like I'm living a teenage dream, or have reverted to being 14, at any rate.

::winks::

DumSpiroSpero · 06/03/2011 23:11

6' tall and good at DIY Hmm Grin?

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 06/03/2011 23:12

And a final snurk at looking for something 6ft tall

DumSpiroSpero · 06/03/2011 23:14

I thought much the same thing when I first heard that song Maud.

I really must look at gettin Glee on DVD as I've never seen it and it looks really good.

Spiro, re. you dating BIL, is that awkward now?!

Maud, so did you know, the way you know about a good watermelon?

Must have a close look at those YT clips (if I can cope with the Blush ) and see if DrTwiglets is on there. He was on one of the sofas, to be interviewed, but there were 3 guys on the soaf already so he got bumped in favour of a pretty blonde girl :o I wsa really good friends with the girl in that clip but we lost touch years ago which is a shame. Matthew Perry does nothing for me now but he was a major crush at the time!

Well after the Shock and Blush of seeing that for the first time in about 15 years, I am off to bed. Night, all!

p.s. I'm after something about 6' tall

Aren't we all?

PassTheTwiglets · 06/03/2011 23:19

Doh, I see I'm too late with the "6 feet tall" jokes :)

SupermassiveLBD · 06/03/2011 23:21

looking for something 6ft tall

but aren't we all, she sez wistfully.

Well that Glee vid was fun! It may become an addiction of mine too.

DumSpiroSpero · 06/03/2011 23:22

Sweet dreams guaranteed after that pic, Twigs.

No, not remotely awkward with BIL - we just went out a couple of times for pizza - was a complete non-event in the grand scheme of things. I get on
really well with him and his partner's great too.

Don't even think about generally tbh (tend to have other things on my mind...Wink)

OP posts:
SupermassiveLBD · 06/03/2011 23:23

Snap, Twiggy. Night night.
My thoughts about RA characters aren't exactly teenage, howsumever...

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 06/03/2011 23:25

::Still here listening to Glee obsessively on YT::

No, Twiggy, I didn't. I dismissed him as not good boyf material. Then years later, my actual boyf got jealous of how much time I was spending with The Bloke and only then did it dawn on me that I'd rather spend my time with The Bloke than him and Boyf was toast.

And, yes, exactly so.

SupermassiveLBD · 06/03/2011 23:25

other things on my mind
And we couldn't begin to guess what those were, Spiro...

PhoenixRisingFromTheAshes · 06/03/2011 23:25

Night Night!!!

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 06/03/2011 23:26

Come on, Massive. Spill the beans about MrH.

DumSpiroSpero · 06/03/2011 23:26

C'mon now Massive - there's a thread over on chat for that sort of malarkey.

DumSpiroSpero · 06/03/2011 23:27

Night Phoenix!

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 06/03/2011 23:29

Wot, Spiro? I have been running the thread Sunday School, you'll remember, with Julian of Norwich and everything. My thoughts are entirely pure and worthy.

SupermassiveLBD · 06/03/2011 23:31

How I met Mr M, do you mean? Boring, met him at uni at a dance.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 06/03/2011 23:36

I don't think that's boring and describing it as a dance makes it sound very swoontastic and Bridehead. I often wonder what it would have been like to meet one's life partner at uni. I mean, that would have added another decade or so to our relationship (not that we were at the same uni).

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 06/03/2011 23:36

Or even Brideshead. A sign that I really should go to bed now.

::blows kisses::

DumSpiroSpero · 06/03/2011 23:36

Grin Maud.

And my H-meeting story must make me sound like a right trollop. I should probably add that for me there is a world of difference between a boyfriend and a serious boyfriend, iykwim?

On the serious boyfriend front, my back story is, to coin a phrase, "frugal, sparse...cautious"

OP posts:
SupermassiveLBD · 06/03/2011 23:39

''a dance'' was over-egging the pudding, really, it was more a ''stand in one place and twitch the odd body part to indifferent but very loud music' kind of occasion.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 06/03/2011 23:40

You don't sound like a trollop, Spiro. You sound like the sort of girl that men want to snog in nightclubs. I was always the sensible one that they would take home to their mother to discuss knitting patterns.

::trudges up the wooden hill to Bedfordshire::

DumSpiroSpero · 06/03/2011 23:48

You sound like the sort of girl that men want to snog in nightclubs.

Not for a long time now Maud...
