Would you like a glass of Chateau Gizzy?

HAs anyone actually seen RAs brother? I didn't even know he had one until Phoenixs recent query about RH.

SupermassiveLBD · 10/02/2011 14:10

Poor chap, he's probably been given a whole new identity by now, Small, especially if news about us lot has got round.

TheSmallPrint · 10/02/2011 15:47

I wonder if his wife ever thinks she picked the wrong brother? Grin I think that it would be very hard for The Other Armitage Man to see so much female adulation poured on his brother. Or maybe he thinks how lucky he is to have been able to settle down and have a family without mad fan press invasion?

...and this

TheSmallPrint · 10/02/2011 16:00

My pooter wont let me close that second pic, oh well Grin

PhoenixRisingFromTheAshes · 10/02/2011 16:01

No, we don't know what his bro looks like.. I've not seen anything myself for sure. I was just speculating about that RH episode - because I still think that fellow looked a lot like him. But there is no way to check without crossing a line that must never be crossed.

OP posts:
TheSmallPrint · 10/02/2011 16:01

Do you think if you saw him in a pub without knowing he was famous that you would give him a second look? I probably wouldn't. I just don't notice good looking men until someone shoves them right under my nose.

TheSmallPrint · 10/02/2011 16:02

sorry that was RA not brother Phoenix. I mean it in a way that he's not 'pretty' like RPJ but rather the more you study him the more attractive he becomes.

MrsLucasNorth · 10/02/2011 16:47

I might think 'he looks quite nice' but probably not 'phwoooar!'

I have to admit though (at the risk of sounding like a complete loon) that at least half the attraction for me is in the way he comes across in interviews, rather than his looks.

I see plenty of photos of him that make me go Hmm, but I still think he sounds like a nice bloke (although possibly a bit if a pita when in full-on method acting mode)

TheSmallPrint · 10/02/2011 16:50

LOL Mrs LN, totally agree!

MrsLucasNorth · 10/02/2011 17:15

On the subject of lunacy. I went food shopping earlier - have had a crappy week and mind was wandering big time whilst I was doing it so it appears my subconscious took over. Have just unpacked...

All the ingredients for Jamie Olivers salmon & cous cous recipe

TheSmallPrint · 10/02/2011 17:28

Sounds like a perfectly reasonble shop to me Grin

SupermassiveLBD · 10/02/2011 17:34

Well, I kinda beg Grin to differ, It's looks and voice for me, in a big time, sledge-hammer blow sort of way, but it has to be when in character.

But we're all different and admittedly I have set myself some limits with this thing, otherwise I'd go beyond loony, I know myself only too well.

ROFLMBA,or B,O @ MrsLN's themed shopping basket, with the NZ Fresh Springs.

SupermassiveLBD · 10/02/2011 17:36

I meant ROFLMA, or B, O.

SupermassiveLBD · 10/02/2011 17:39

From Sky website, via Twitter

''Richard Armitage returns as John Porter and two new characters will be introduced, played by Philip Winchester and Sullivan Stapleton.''

Do we believe this??????

SupermassiveLBD · 10/02/2011 17:40

''Filming is expected to begin on location in South Africa later this month.''

MrsLucasNorth · 10/02/2011 17:48

I certainly bloody hope so! Although presume he will get killed off or retire within 1 or 2 eps.

SupermassiveLBD · 10/02/2011 17:51

Better than a kick in the pants, though, MrsLN. I was beginning to think he'd not be in it at all.

SupermassiveLBD · 10/02/2011 17:52

Oh, golly, I just remembered what happened at the beginning of series 7 Spooks Sad

MrsLucasNorth · 10/02/2011 17:56

Me too. They'll have to retire him surely - they can't kill him off when his daughter lost her mum in the first series. I bet it will be 'one last mission and then I'll have to jack it in for DD's sake' storyline.

I know what you mean about limits, although I have some RL stuff going on right now and tbh this thread and my little 'obsession' Wink are about the only things keeping me sane at the mo!

MrsLucasNorth · 10/02/2011 17:57

I use the word 'sane' in the loosest possible sense, obviously Grin

SupermassiveLBD · 10/02/2011 18:05

I understand completely about the need for a distraction from RL agro, MrsLN.
My limits only consist of restricting myself to the fictional, otherwise I am totally and disgracefully obsessed.
But you never guessed that, did you?

MrsLucasNorth · 10/02/2011 18:07

Not at all Super!

I don't go out of my way to read interviews these days but am cursed with a bit of a photographic memory so things come back to haunt me sometimes when I'm least expecting it...

SupermassiveLBD · 10/02/2011 18:18

It's difficult, I know. Sometimes nosiness gets the better of me, or I remember things like you say you do, and I have to mentally slam the piano lid shut on my fingers Smile
