Great devious minds, Small!

PassTheTwiglets · 10/02/2011 21:58

Oh, tonight we had the Moulin Rouge episode of Spooks... Lucas was so yummy in that episode. Achingly beautiful.

SupermassiveLBD · 10/02/2011 21:59

Twigs, I have to confess I was thinking along the same lines as Small and Maud but kept censoring myself for unworthy thoughts.

Interested in this thread?

Hahaha at all of our mischievous thoughts Grin

moulin Rouge spooks? Confused

SupermassiveLBD · 10/02/2011 22:02

Achingly beautiful, eh? You can say that again, Twigs

PassTheTwiglets · 10/02/2011 22:03

LOL at writing 'with my other hand' :)

Dear Richard, I think you are very good at acting I like it when you go STOMP STOMP and go all angry in Robin Hood do you luv Marian I think she is a poo-head will you writ back to me luv from MissTwiglets.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 10/02/2011 22:04

Fascinating discussion now with a sculptor who made a sculpture of Priapus, which is now on a London street, but he had to omit its most obviously Priapic component for fear of offending public decency. Yet, as he points out, there are pictures of near-naked girls plastered all over the place.

It's an art programme (and I missed the beginning of it) but I think its thesis is that art is good and prudery about the human body is not. But there is an issue about the intersection between art and the law on obscenity/indecency which (unless I missed it) they haven't really explored.

PassTheTwiglets · 10/02/2011 22:06

Sorry to confuse, Small - I don't mean it was set in the Moulin Rouge, I was just using that as a silly was of describing a nightclub.

SupermassiveLBD · 10/02/2011 22:12

One of the things I so love about this thread is how we make fun of ourselves for our foolish passion. I screamed with laughter at your faux DD letter, Twigs.

I wonder who objects to a priapic Priapus sculpture, and other like depictions . Do you think it's mainly blokes worried about unfavourable comparisons, maybe? I always think it's odd that few holds are barred when depicting the female form.

Is there something they don't want us to find out?

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 10/02/2011 22:14

I was going to say left hand and then I thought you might be left-handed anyway and 'the hand that you don't normally write with' seemed far too wordy. Oh, you know what I mean, Twiggy. Poo head is perhaps a bit too authentic, maybe?

Dear Mr Armitage

My mummy has spent all the child benefit buying dvds with you in. I like Robin Hood best because Marian is so pretty and whacks you in the face when you are being annoying. I am very angry that you killed her. Can you get me her autograph? From

GardenGirl

TheSmallPrint · 10/02/2011 22:21

Grin at Mauds 'mummy has spent all the child benefit on Dvds'. About sums it up really!

Off to bed now to dream sweet dreams of bad handwriting Wink

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 10/02/2011 22:23

It isn't true, of course, but I suspect that is almost exactly what GardenGirl would write.

Good night, Small!

SupermassiveLBD · 10/02/2011 22:23

Hey dude,
Any chance you hav any spare sords, armer ect left over from when you where in robin Hud. or if you can get us a longbow that wud be grate. Not Robins that was --crap- rubbish.

           Luv from
                 Superboys 1 and 2

PS Mum made us cross out that wurd, sory for the mess
PPS An old Heklur and Cock wud do too.

SupermassiveLBD · 10/02/2011 22:25

Darn that was too authentic! I forgot to ask for the photo!

PassTheTwiglets · 10/02/2011 22:26

LOL at child benefit comment :)

Maud, just to clarify, I wasn't LOLing at the way you phrased "other hand", I was LOLing at the idea in general - I didn't realise that that's how other people also faked their child's hand-writing so the recognition of that made me laugh. It's shameful how many times I've faked a thank you letter from her...

Oh, I got thoroughly busted, as the kids say, on the Porter shirt :o

SupermassiveLBD · 10/02/2011 22:28

Ladiez. the press conference has started, piccie with the Man in it here

He has a beard!

PassTheTwiglets · 10/02/2011 22:28

Night, Small! And at the bad handwriting dream :)

Massive, ROFL at "not Robins that was crap" :o

PhoenixRisingFromTheAshes · 10/02/2011 22:29

I've used my "other hand" to disguise my handwriting. I don't think it would work with my children's handwriting because they write much better than me! Or at least my daughter does...

OP posts:
ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 10/02/2011 22:29

Massive - Are you mother to the grate Molesworth and his wedy bruver Molesworth 2? Chiz.

PhoenixRisingFromTheAshes · 10/02/2011 22:30

Oh My God!!!

OP posts:
PassTheTwiglets · 10/02/2011 22:31

Massive, arrrrgggh panic!!! At first I thought it was Man With Beard 2 people to the right of Martin Freeman, but he's the one right next to Martin, yes? Oh please say it's true!

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 10/02/2011 22:32

Beard, did you say?

::pogonophile::

SupermassiveLBD · 10/02/2011 22:33

They strugle a bit with speling, Maud!

The crap comment was totally authentic. But then they think the whole show is crap too. I wasn't about to be that authentic!

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 10/02/2011 22:34

He's the one nearly invisible at the very back, with a tiny glimpse of backlit twiglet, no?

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 10/02/2011 22:37

Yes, Massive, but the way you they write is so uncannily like Molesworth, whom I love, despite his being a goriller.
