Would you like a glass of Chateau Gizzy?

Mercy, MrsLN, such supermassive gorgeousness should be illegal.

Oh kerrrumbs, I just know I am going to burn the dinner today.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 14/02/2011 16:13

If you do the slideshow through the archery photos, it's like a little animation - Cupid in action.

I know the sun is not yet over the yardarm but I'm going out now for my hot date with Colin The Gardener so will leave you with a little gift (pre-loved but fun nonetheless). In fact, I was watching this earlier, purely for academic purposes, when my mother rang to tell me she wanted Colin for her toyboy. .

Hi Mrs LN!

Have fun with Colin Maud!

SupermassiveLBD · 14/02/2011 17:05

I like it, DSS!!! Grin

At least your Mum didn't want to share our Man, Maud, be thankful for small mercies. I hope you have a wonderful time at the movies.
Or are having, if you have already gone.

DumSpiroSpero · 14/02/2011 17:09

Am I that obvious? Grin

Was actually browsing a site of Latin phrases for inspiration and came across that one with some background info. My reasons for picking it are completely unrelated to Lucas, believe it or not.

SupermassiveLBD · 14/02/2011 17:15

I would have gone for the Greek myself, nice location.

Hope you are okay btw. Have been thinking of you.

PassTheTwiglets · 14/02/2011 17:19

Oh DSS, that is a fabulous name, I thoroughly approve.

And OMG indeed about that archery photo, Maud!! Wasn't so keen on the second one - too hairy - but the arms, ooooh, he had the arms of a young Gene Kelly in that one. And before you think I'm crazy check them out

Hope you have a great time, Maud!

DumSpiroSpero · 14/02/2011 17:25

All ok here thanks, Massive!

And a belated

Is anyone getting spoiled or spoiling their 'significant other' (boak) today, or are we all too grown up for that?

DumSpiroSpero · 14/02/2011 17:26

I would have gone for the Greek myself, nice location. Oh, yes...

And I'm totally with you on Gene Kelly, Twigs Grin

PassTheTwiglets · 14/02/2011 17:30

I don't get the 'gone for the Greek' comment...?

SupermassiveLBD · 14/02/2011 17:32

Is anyone getting spoiled or spoiling their 'significant other'

Depends what you mean by spoiling, perhaps, DSS, but no to either anyway.

No wonder I spend so much time on here.

Thanks for the Valentine vid, very nice

SupermassiveLBD · 14/02/2011 17:33

There is a Greek quotation in a very interesting location, Twigs, think Spooks 7.1

SupermassiveLBD · 14/02/2011 17:34

I would have gone for that for a name change, in other words. But was joking.

PassTheTwiglets · 14/02/2011 17:37

DSS, nothing major for V-day. We have a nice meal planned and some pink Fizzy Gizzy but that's all. I did feel guilty though - we never do presents for V'Day but DrTwiglets bought me the Sylvester audiobook - we had a not-entirely-legit copy that didn't work very well so he bought me the proper one, bless him. But I didn't buy him anything as I didn't realise he'd changed the rules on me!

PassTheTwiglets · 14/02/2011 17:38

Oh, I get it now, thanks!

DumSpiroSpero · 14/02/2011 17:40

We haven't even done cards (my suggestion). To me it's just not romantic if you're doing it on a prescribed date along with everyone else.

DumSpiroSpero · 14/02/2011 17:41

That's nice Twigs. I don't think my DH will be adding to my Armitage collection any time soon!

TheSmallPrint · 14/02/2011 17:43

No, I got a card and a cupcake, thats me done for another year Grin

SupermassiveLBD · 14/02/2011 17:44

Well, we are extremely romantic, Twigs and DSS because Mr Massive did his usual trick and forgot. He always forgets prescribed dates of all sorts. Unless it's a list of footie fixtures.

But I am used to it anyway and so have no expectations. He's not a bad sort, believe it or not.

PhoenixRisingFromTheAshes · 14/02/2011 17:46

So, we call you Dum now?

OP posts:
DumSpiroSpero · 14/02/2011 17:49

The abbreviation is a bit of an issue - neither Dum, nor DSS really does it for me tbh.

Perhaps Spiro?

SupermassiveLBD · 14/02/2011 18:05

Ooooh, I am sorry about the DSS, then Grin

DumSpiroSpero · 14/02/2011 18:10

An absolutely genius addition to the archives, even if I do say do myself...

SupermassiveLBD · 14/02/2011 18:16

Brilliant find, Spiro/Spero. I was hoping there would be a new one for this year.
