Would you like a glass of Chateau Gizzy?

Did you actually just use the expression moving on?! Wink

Golly MrsLN, don't you engage private browsing on your machine?

Interested in this thread?

Then you might like threads about these subjects:

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 13/02/2011 21:00

Err, what would private browsing be, exactly?

Oooh, Baftas about to start but I doubt The Gardener will want to watch it. We are going to see the Firthmeister tomorrow, though.

MrsLucasNorth · 13/02/2011 21:00

Bugger! That was a Freudian slip if ever there was one (could have been another one too but, nuff said already!)

Off to watch Baftas now - with H, who would rather stick pins in his eyes but is making an effort

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 13/02/2011 21:02

Squeal! Colin has spoken!

Ugh! Sir Paul McCartney had promised us a rocking evening. Save us.

MrsLucasNorth · 13/02/2011 21:04

Thank God I missed that - can't stand PMcC

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 13/02/2011 21:06

Me neither. His smug self-satisfaction makes me cringe.

SupermassiveLBD · 13/02/2011 21:09

It depends what browser you are using, Maud. With Intenet Explorer, when you open a new window, on the top right of the screen they give you an option that says ''open an InPrivate browsing window''
When you use that window, it won't store all the sites you have visited.

There is a similar option with Firefox. I think you will find it on one of the toolbar menus there.

TheSmallPrint · 13/02/2011 21:10

Oh Mrs LN, I hope you two are OK. Sad

just off to watch Being Human with one of the dwarfs.

TheSmallPrint · 13/02/2011 21:12

Useful info there Massive

PassTheTwiglets · 13/02/2011 21:13

McCartney did it with thumbs up too
So should we not mention anthing about the Baftas, for those who may be watching at another time?

So do you think things might be a little better then, MrsLN? I do hope so.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 13/02/2011 21:17

I managed to blot out the thumbs up. Oh that man annoys me so much.

PassTheTwiglets · 13/02/2011 21:22

Oooh, stop press! James McAvoy!!

SupermassiveLBD · 13/02/2011 21:24

^^
Mainly all this stuff here, Small, and the accompanying texts.

Mention of the Baftas is okay by me but then I will not get to see them at any time, any way.So it's probably not me you're asking, either.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 13/02/2011 21:29

Look, Twiggy, I kept quiet when you said you had a crush on Bilbo Baggins but Mr McA? He's very sweet, but really? Compared to The Man?

SupermassiveLBD · 13/02/2011 21:32

I just checked out the photos, courtesy of the Daily Wail and doesn't Colin look smart indeed.

I can't see a frock I'd want.

PassTheTwiglets · 13/02/2011 21:34

Well he pales when compared with The Man, of course, but he's very cute, don't you think? I suppose it's more "aaahhh" than "phwoar".

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 13/02/2011 21:37

Ooooh

PhoenixRisingFromTheAshes · 13/02/2011 21:38

I'll have nothing said against Macca - he's one of my heroes!!!

OP posts:
PhoenixRisingFromTheAshes · 13/02/2011 21:41

Twigs, have you seen James M in Shakespeare Retold (with the Man as MacDuff of course)?

OP posts:
ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 13/02/2011 21:41

Cute in the way that a puppy is cute, maybe. In a tousle his hair and give him sixpence to buy some sweets kind of way. But he looks so young that it would be indecent for me to harbour any other kind of thoughts.

::very old::

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 13/02/2011 21:43

Really, Phoenix? What do you find heroic? I'll concede that he co-wrote some fabulous songs but he is sooooo pleased with himself. And then there is The Frog Chorus. So convince me.

PhoenixRisingFromTheAshes · 13/02/2011 21:44

Re: Baftas, I think it's a sweep.....

OP posts:
PassTheTwiglets · 13/02/2011 21:45

No, I haven't see Shakey Retold, Phoenix.

As for dresses, did you see Livia's dress, Massive? Stunning.
