Do come in. It's never too late to enrol. We have an extensive programme of rigorous academic study and a never-ending supply of Chateau Gizzy and ratafia biscuits.

Keeping my fingers crossed, for him as well as us -- must be a bit worrying and frustrating, all that stop/start thing they have going on.

You are very selfless SMLBD! I was rather more wondering if he'd get bored and come back to the UK until it actually kicks off - I'm going to be in London for a couple of days at the end of the month Grin!

So what's the deal between Meg & Gizzy then? I'm not going to watch it with her being his stepdaughter in Sparkhouse in the back of my mind and think 'ick' am I?

MrsLucasNorth · 09/02/2011 13:24

Great minds SmallPrint ROFLMAO!!!! Grin

TheSmallPrint · 09/02/2011 13:40

Such one track minds we have Mrs!

You may now think that about Meg, because you have planted the seed in your mind.

Well of course as a jealous cow unworthily not wanting anyone to get their hot little hands on Gizzy I saw it like this, MrsLN.

Meg is tiny and very very young. I know Marion was a lot younger than him but Meg seemed a bit too young..

Oh don't listen to me, I am just jealous

MrsLucasNorth · 09/02/2011 13:45

I was coming from the bit too young perspective too, regardless of the Sparkhouse factor.

I probably wouldn't make any connection between the two if I did watch it, I find it's very easy to separate the characters he plays from one another (which I'd like to think is down to his superior acting skills, rather than my obsessive viewing habits Blush)

PhoenixRisingFromTheAshes · 09/02/2011 13:55

Gizzy is indeed utterly divine.

He may possibly be the Man's most physically attractive character, which is something coming from a Thornton devotee such as myself...

Did you hear that there is apparently a Hobbit press conference on Friday...wonder what that will be about?

MrsLucasNorth · 09/02/2011 14:03

I beg to differ, Phoenix - would have to be John Porter or Lucas all the way for me as far as looks are concerned (from a consistency POV anyway - Gizzy does of course have lots of wibblesome moments)

SupermassiveLBD · 09/02/2011 14:03

I read it that he saw her as a sweet and innocent young girl who was being kind to him. The kiss he gave her wasn't so much a snog as a blessing, really, as she was dying.

Oh, I am such a cow.

TheSmallPrint · 09/02/2011 14:06

Mr T, Mr N and Mr P for me - I'm definately with Mrs LN here. Agreed that he is still wibblesome as Gizzy though.

TheSmallPrint · 09/02/2011 14:07
SupermassiveLBD · 09/02/2011 14:09

I am with you, Phoenix, bet you'd never have guessed, would you. The others are totally devastatingly unprecedently gorgeous in every single way, but Gizzy just makes me die.
Wink

TheSmallPrint · 09/02/2011 14:13

CLEAR!

SupermassiveLBD · 09/02/2011 14:27

Ahem, Small. Not that sort of dying... Grin

PhoenixRisingFromTheAshes · 09/02/2011 14:28

Hoping that the press conference will be

A) to introduce all the actors Grin
B) on YT within microseconds of taking place

But I fear it may be neither.

I resisted Guy for ages (truly) due to my perception that RH was complete anachronistic rubbish, and that the leather costume made him look like a biker or a rock singer...but...he got me eventually (wibble)

There's an interesting analysis of Richard's costumes in Season 1 here.

TheSmallPrint · 09/02/2011 14:29

Oh, soz Grin

MrsLucasNorth · 09/02/2011 14:30

TBH RA in any way, shape or form makes me want to do lots of things but dying is definitely not one of them Wink

TheSmallPrint · 09/02/2011 14:34

Yes, lets not pretend we're that fussy!!

MrsLucasNorth · 09/02/2011 14:35

OMG Phoenix!!!

Did you clock the bit in that interview where he talks about buying the Gizzy costume from Series 1 & 2?

TheSmallPrint · 09/02/2011 14:36

unless it's a French little death hey Mrs LN Grin

MrsLucasNorth · 09/02/2011 14:38

SmallPrint - you are even worse than me!

SupermassiveLBD · 09/02/2011 14:47

Re my reactions to Gizzy,MrsLN Well I am not going to spell it out for you too.

Phoenix, I wouldn't even watch the RH series before, with all the stupid costumes etc --Marion's crocheted bolero thingy particularly grated. It looked like a leftover from Glasto circa 1970.

I had to back-pedal pretty fast so i could get to watch it...

PhoenixRisingFromTheAshes · 09/02/2011 14:47

MrsLN - indeed I did clock that, and have read it before. To think...Richard perhaps has his Gizzy costume (and possibly several) stowed away at home...just for "special" occasions!! (dies)

SupermassiveLBD · 09/02/2011 14:49

Small you might think that, I couldn't possibly comment

SupermassiveLBD · 09/02/2011 14:51

Was that a big death, then, Phoenix, or a little one?

PhoenixRisingFromTheAshes · 09/02/2011 14:56

You know full well what kind of death that was, Massive! Big or little, it left me in a puddle of drool...
