Do come in. It's never too late to enrol. We have an extensive programme of rigorous academic study and a never-ending supply of Chateau Gizzy and ratafia biscuits.

You know I'm only teasing.

I've just been rummaging in a previously unexplored part of the archive and found .

::sniff, smile and swoon::

Oh, that was really clever,, Techno. I thought at the beginning that it wasn't going to work, but it fit perfectly. Nice to have such a light-hearted gathering with them all.

LaVieEnTechnicolor · 03/02/2011 22:07

Yes, I thought it worked amazingly well. If anyone had said James Brown + period drama, oh how I would have laughed. But I would have been wrong.

Here is my particular subject of research these days. I was wondering what he looked like before he descended too far down the pit, as we see him in RH3.1 This is later after a bit of a wash and brush up, of course. But I was wondering whether it would do for the same position on the opposite side of the curve.

What do you think? A wee bit more wasted?

Mr Thornton looks luminous, there. Sigh...

LaVieEnTechnicolor · 03/02/2011 22:25

I'm not sure I understand the question, but I agree the intensity of the gaze is most, ahem, compelling. And the aquiline appendage is shown in near-profile to good effect. Shame the hair is hiding the twiglets.

I think that intensity is also what makes that other picture so wibblesome. And its size, of course. And the thrilling glimpse of naked throat.

::swoon::

OP posts:
Theresaholeinyourmind · 03/02/2011 22:34

Okay. I was wondering what Guy looked like halfway between seasons two and three. Hair longer than the last episode of 2, but not as long greasy and dirty as episode one of season three.

Mr Thornton has such a lovely expression on his face in your pic but what struck me most was how his mouth has gone all soft.

LaVieEnTechnicolor · 03/02/2011 22:42

Sorry. It's getting late and my brain (such as it is) is slowly going into standby mode. Now I see.

I don't think I can trust myself to contemplate Mr Thornton's mouth but, oh, that throat, framed by the collar of the floppy white shirt.

::finally collapses::

OP posts:
Theresaholeinyourmind · 03/02/2011 22:52

The throat is rather lovely, isn't it? Of course with Gizzy, a lot more than throats is sometimes flaunted. So I take mouths in my stride. Well most of the time

TBH I am feeling a bit wasted myself. Not a single glass of the cordial have I had tonight, either.

PhoenixRisingFromTheAshes · 03/02/2011 22:58

I've been reviewing some of the artefacts presented here and thudding all over the place. That full length pic of Guy - wow!! I haven't seen that for a while.

LaVieEnTechnicolor · 03/02/2011 23:00

::slowly raises self from hearth rug::

Well, that's the difference between naughty Guy and dear, dear Johnnie. With Johnnie, a glimpse of naked throat is the most a girl can hope for. But of course, that is enough for those of us for whom the connection is intellectual and spiritual. Ahem.

OP posts:
Theresaholeinyourmind · 03/02/2011 23:07

Hello, Phoenix how are you? It's been a good thudding evening, all right. That big one of Mr Thornton was the best of him I've seen for ages.

I have been looking at RH3.5 a bit, in betweeen posts. I thought I didn't like the series 3 look, but I appear to have been mistaken

LaVieEnTechnicolor · 03/02/2011 23:12

::rouses self::

Punkah-wallahs are a bit too, ahem, colonialist for 21st century London, I fear.

::briefly considers decamping to a Merchant Ivory film::

But perhaps a stern but kind gentleman will come to my assistance.

OP posts:
LaVieEnTechnicolor · 03/02/2011 23:31

Don't worry about me, Theresa. I know you'd be a true friend and call for a doctor if the stern but kind gentleman was unable to minister to me.

OP posts:
Theresaholeinyourmind · 03/02/2011 23:32

Not much help for swooning ladies, though, that Johnny Thornton. Open your eyes to that and you'd swoon clear away again. Same problem with Dr Track.

Oooh-er, Techno, this looks serious

LaVieEnTechnicolor · 03/02/2011 23:38

Oooh-err. It looks not unlike the scene after MissTechno's birth. Except the doctors then were not quite so swoonworthy.

PhoenixRisingFromTheAshes · 03/02/2011 23:45

Hi - I also rather surprised mself in liking Guy's S3 look and of course there is major gorgeousness going on...

Theresaholeinyourmind · 03/02/2011 23:47

I don't think a swoon-worthy gynaecologist would be all that welocme an idea.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 03/02/2011 23:55

Nearly missed Fix You, there. It never fails, does it?

Phoenix, what's with all the smiley Guy in RH3,5? he looks utterly ...

LaVieEnTechnicolor · 04/02/2011 00:11

I didn't have an out of body experience, and was conscious throughout, but I did have a lot of tubes and monitors. It was all a bit too ER for comfort, but without Mr Clooney.

Fix You is always a thrill, more so with the Period Posse than with Lucas, I feel. And finally, here's just a hint of a smile to bid you good night. Tra la.

OP posts:
Theresaholeinyourmind · 04/02/2011 00:16

So delightful, that smile, Techno, he would light up a dark night any time. In a naughty but nice way.

Sweet dreams. Oh, and regards to Claude, if you have seen him lately.
