Do come in. It's never too late to enrol. We have an extensive programme of rigorous academic study and a never-ending supply of Chateau Gizzy and ratafia biscuits.

Oh, sorry, are you squeamish about matters medical? Funny thing is, I was so in the moment that I didn't really think about it then and now it's just another stitch in the rich tapestry that is my life. Or summat.

Anyway, am wittering. Am planning to introduce Claude to MissTechno soon.

Urgh, I am poorly.

Is there a doctor in the house?

TheSmallPrint · 04/02/2011 10:53

I am not convinced with the long hair ladies, as much as I try.

Are you feeling OK Twigs?

Poor Twigs, get well soon
I have been trying to page the doctor, but his internet connection seems to be down. Either that or everyone here is on-line and I can't get through from this end!

Small, I didn't like the long hair either. But seeing the actual episodes, and then a few photos of how well it cleans up, I am converted. He looks like an ever so slightly wicked prince.Incredibly handsome.

TheSmallPrint · 04/02/2011 11:37

I called the doctor for Twigs already, he is up there ^^

I can't get past the hair, I have a real problem with it. I am going to very kindly leave this incarnation to you Theresa Grin

PassTheTwiglets · 04/02/2011 11:57

Thank you, Small! I was feeling a little better but then the Good Doctor arrived and I now feel a little faint again.

DD came home with a new library book from school yesterday - she'd chosen a RH book! It was "Sheriff Got Your Tongue?" so I had to edit on my feet...

Theresaholeinyourmind · 04/02/2011 12:06

I can quite see where you are coming from, here, Small

But I mean to say...

Twigs, Grin @ your DD. A generation of littlies are indoctrinated

Wonder what she said to teacher. Oh look, RH!! My mum is in love with Richard Armitage...

PassTheTwiglets · 04/02/2011 13:07

Oooooh, looky at the new smiley!!!

Wine Wine Wine

Theresaholeinyourmind · 04/02/2011 13:19

Wine Oh goody, what fun, thanks for pointing it out, Twiggy! Now we need a Chateau Gizzy and a Polish Cordial one!

TheSmallPrint · 04/02/2011 14:15

Surely that is a Chateau Gizzy?? MAde for us that was!

Just to be quite contrary Teri, I actually prefer the first one, the second one is a bit - bouffant, a bit Lawrence LB.

MrsLucasNorth · 04/02/2011 14:27

Oh, but the eyes on the second one SmallPrint...

TheSmallPrint · 04/02/2011 14:29

I don't know whats wrong with me it's just not doing it for me, I have an urgent need to grab some clippers!!!!

PassTheTwiglets · 04/02/2011 14:44

ROFL at "and relax", Small! That is scrumminess personified, isn't it?

You have hit the nail on the head there with the word "bouffant". I was wodnering what it was that bothered me about the RH3 hair and it wasn't that it was long, per se, I just didn't like it. And I've just realised the bouffantness is exactly the problem!

Theresaholeinyourmind · 04/02/2011 14:48

That is not a bad photo, Small

He is devastating with the short hair, am loving the Botticelli look too but to see him on horseback, swishing the long locks out of his eyes..oh brother...

If I had to choose one look , it probably wouldn't be the long hair, but the novelty of it has me breathless and thunderstruck all over again.

PassTheTwiglets · 04/02/2011 14:50

I know some of us aren't keen on RL pics but isn't this lovely?

In contrast, I've seen this photo several times before but I don't think we've ever stopped to consider just how much of a prat he looks :o

Theresaholeinyourmind · 04/02/2011 14:58

Nice smile there, Twiggs, I have to say.
And give the guy a break Grin I look like a prat in most of my photos, so I guess he is allowed a few not-so-hot shots Wink

TheSmallPrint · 04/02/2011 15:44

That photo was with Greg James when he went into Radio 1 last year wasn't it? I think he felt uncomfortable as they had a live audience who were all about 17 (Greg James is only about 20 or something ridiculous like that Grin) he looks like he feels like a prat.

Like the other RL one though as he just looks quite chilled.

MrsLucasNorth · 04/02/2011 16:39

I love both of those - it's only really the hands that are the problem in pic 2 - nothing PhotoShop couldn't fix! Grin

itsalarf · 04/02/2011 17:39

Small, I love the long hair more and more-messy or bouffant! Cheers! Wine. Is this to celebrate the longevity of the Academy?

Theresaholeinyourmind · 04/02/2011 18:10

Larf, I think the hair brings out his inner rock star. Bouffant? This is bouffant. Guy's is just luxuriant and run-your-fingers-through-able.

Was Chateau Gizzy red or white cos I can't drink red and am worried I might have been doing so for all these weeks...

itsalarf · 04/02/2011 18:12

I agree with you Theresa. Twas not me who levelled the terrible bouffant accusation Grin I spy David Coverdale there. I used to have a soft spot....

itsalarf · 04/02/2011 18:14

I think if you have had no ill effects so far, you should be ok. It must have healing powers. In RL I have become fond of a bit of red again, having gone off it. Personally, I think of Gizzy as being a sparkly little number.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 04/02/2011 18:21

Of course you didn't, larf, the bouffant refutation bit was directed at Twigs and Small. Maybe they have never seen the likes of Whitesnake in full fig, or they'd never think that Guy's gorgeous mane was over the top. (though I do understand them as I can't keep marvelling at myself for liking it so much)

Red gives me a migraine that's why I can't drink it, but Gizzy seems to do me no harm as you say. Fair warms the cockles, it does Wink

PhoenixRisingFromTheAshes · 04/02/2011 19:09

Some long hair photos I can't bear, like this one which I think is terrible (and not just because of the hair) but then we get ones like this mean, moody and magnificent example which get me all hot and bothered...
