Do come in. It's never too late to enrol. We have an extensive programme of rigorous academic study and a never-ending supply of Chateau Gizzy and ratafia biscuits.

Oh confusion reigns again.

  1. Aha so we're both on the same wavelength about his 'acting abilities' in Australia then.
  1. Moments of madness being sensible and the rest of the time we revert to insanity.

you can get lost in those eyes . Is that meant to be Thorin then? It just looks like RA normal (although a slightly ginger beard for some reason).

Theresaholeinyourmind · 03/02/2011 17:46

Just a generic pic I think, fandom trying to work out what the Thorin look will be.

PassTheTwiglets · 03/02/2011 18:00

Short stubble is good! Long stubble is just scruffy... I love DH with his, what I call, "George Clooney beard" :)

Theresaholeinyourmind · 03/02/2011 18:08

Do you know, I actually used to hate stubble with a passion

Now I have sorta changed my mind a bit.Wink
So how does one maintain a certain level of stubble? Do you have to start from scratch every time? Or can you trim it down like you can the lawn, without shaving it all off?

TheSmallPrint · 03/02/2011 18:50

You can get an istubble! John Lewis sell it.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 03/02/2011 18:52

They think of everything, don't they? Grin

TheSmallPrint · 03/02/2011 18:58

here saw it when looking for my brothers Xmas pressie.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 03/02/2011 20:20

This is a better model than they have on there, Small. Wink

LaVieEnTechnicolor · 03/02/2011 20:26

Evening all.

I have to say that I saw no resemblance between the Mystery Extra in RH and JP or even The Man Himself, other than height and the ability to pull a sardonic expression (which I guess is learnt rather than genetic). And surely if big bruv had been an extra, word would have got onto one of the fan sites by now?

I agree that Will was cute. Great-great-great-grandson of Dickens, apparently, and an Old Etonian to boot. Doncha just love trivia?

The last few days' accounts of what's going on on Twitter conform all my worst fears about it.

A rousing tune there, Techno and some brief shots of A Man, but rather too much PLFwittery to be idealGrin

However as I say Abba is always good for dancing round one's reticule.

A shame about Twitter, it seems Mankind is only too ready to see the, er, lighter side of technological advance. I hope all is settled down now and folk can have their fun again in a peaceful manner.

Fancy that about Will and Dickens. I had no idea, but then I am never all that clued up about trivia

MrsLucasNorth · 03/02/2011 20:46

A little something you may appreciate, Theresa!

MrsLucasNorth · 03/02/2011 20:49

I think I have just discovered the photographic equivalent of the WMD

Theresaholeinyourmind · 03/02/2011 20:53

Oooh, thank you, MrsLN. He looks very brooding and smouldery there, and no mistake

''Look, Guy, sweetie, will you lighten up if I give you a bite of my Magnum?''

Theresaholeinyourmind · 03/02/2011 20:55

That second one works for me too, MrsLN, but Techno isn't too keen on the shinier leather incarnations, perhaps?

MrsLucasNorth · 03/02/2011 20:59

Well, less shiny and more rugged black leather would be nice, but let's not look a gift horse in the mouth!

LaVieEnTechnicolor · 03/02/2011 21:01

Yes, I remember that was our verdict at a previous screening. How about this one?

Crikey, MrsLN. He looks like something from twilight in that picture.

My extensive knowledge of Mr Lloyd comes from IMDb.

Thuddus Maximus

LaVieEnTechnicolor · 03/02/2011 21:07

::sniff::

Can anyone lend me a lace-trimmed, lavender-scented hankie?

It is true that the waffer-thin shiny pleather does not light my fire or float my boat, but don't let that stop you indulging your pervy cravings interests.

OP posts:
TheSmallPrint · 03/02/2011 21:08

Very nice indeed! Would agree that a little shine and a little more grime might be in order. Go and get a bit dirty man!

Theresaholeinyourmind · 03/02/2011 21:14

I don't mind shiny, me. I wonder if it comes like that or do they have to polish it?

LaVieEnTechnicolor · 03/02/2011 21:21

Shiny happy people

Theresaholeinyourmind · 03/02/2011 21:24

MrsLN, re Thuddimus Maximus, there is a rather similar shot of Mr Thornton with that expression on his face. He always looks a bit of a rogue then...

N&S and Abba? An unusual combination. Mr Thornton as always evokes the need for a lavender-sceted hankie. though TBH I prefer eau de cologne, lavender sets my hay fever off in RL.

OKay, I own up to my pervy leather cravings, The belts wiv all the metalwork on 'em are prety darn nice too. And let's not forget that whacking great carving knife he carts around with him...
