Just in case we need new premises tonight... :)

Ooh, horrid horrid RL, Cake is just what the doctor ordered.

TheSmallPrint · 19/01/2011 14:33
Theresaholeinyourmind · 19/01/2011 14:38

But he stil puts the cake into his mouth, whatever the means of doing so.

TheSmallPrint · 19/01/2011 14:42

Yes but I'm sure he licks his lips after

Theresaholeinyourmind · 19/01/2011 15:16

Grin What are we like? You'd just have to act quick, then, wouldn't you?

PassTheTwiglets · 19/01/2011 15:17

What is that fork picture taken from? I've seen it a lot but never sure what it is - Moving On, perhaps?

OK, cake is ready. A bit warm still but tuck in...!

Dr Alec, let me eat wipe those crumbs off you...

OP posts:
TheSmallPrint · 19/01/2011 15:21

Yes Moving On Twigs.

PassTheTwiglets · 19/01/2011 15:36

Oh don't mention diets, Small :( I was doing so well until Xmas and was really in the zone - but it's all gone to pot now and am very fed up about it. I am consoling myself with chocolate cake :o

OP posts:
TheSmallPrint · 19/01/2011 15:41

I've lost about 6lbs in the last week. Must all be water!

PassTheTwiglets · 19/01/2011 17:03

Wow, well done you - that's amazing!!

OP posts:
MrsLucasNorth · 19/01/2011 17:10

Wish that was catching SmallPrint - although have just eaten a homemade sausage roll so not likely!

Did your DD pass the chocolate cake test, Twigs? Always a good measure of how poorly they are - if my DD won't eat chocolate or pizza I know there's something up (not sure it's ever happened yet though Grin)

Does anyone know what the state of play is in Hobbiton at the moment? Am assuming RA is over there getting his dwarf-groove on by now...

Theresaholeinyourmind · 19/01/2011 17:56

I read that filming starts February 14th, MrsLN but I expect Dwarf School precedes that.

Well done, Small, on your diet. Since the Academy opened its doors I have lost an unprecedented stone. I am an inveterate picker and snacker but amazingly I have been too busy fanning and thudding to eat. This is so not like me, but who needs chocolate with this around?

Theresaholeinyourmind · 19/01/2011 18:26

Ew, ignore that last post, it sounds horribly smug. Blush

MrsLucasNorth · 19/01/2011 18:36

I've lost 5lbs since the Academy started - not sure am doing so well this week though...

PassTheTwiglets · 19/01/2011 19:22

She ate a few mouthfuls but then just crumbled it up. DS (3yo) climbed up and helped himsefl to a slice, unbeknownst to me, then took it up to my bed and ate it under the covers. Oh, the mess... :)

Well done also to MrsLN and Theresa on the weight loss! I lost almost a stone thanks, indirectly, to RA and the Academy (long and silly story) but I think I have put much of it back on this last month [stoopid thickhead emoticon].

In other news, I've just seen my first 'famous' Guy scene, woohoo! Remember I mentioned that I've only ever seen Guy from YT and that the same clips kept cropping up and that I was eager to see them in context? Well I saw my first one, hurrah! It was the one where he opens a door with a "ta-da!" gesture, iykwim. Tiny things please tiny minds :)

OP posts:
PassTheTwiglets · 19/01/2011 19:24

Ta-da!

OP posts:
MrsLucasNorth · 19/01/2011 19:27

Long and silly story? Am curious now!

Grin
MrsLucasNorth · 19/01/2011 19:29

Complete with big sword too, Twigs! Wink

At least your DS is ok - is he still enjoying nursery?

TheSmallPrint · 19/01/2011 19:46

A collective well done to all our weight shifting - maybe it's lurve making you all skinny? hee hee.

MrsLucasNorth · 19/01/2011 20:01

The Richard Armitage Diet as endorsed by Mumsnet Grin!

TheSmallPrint · 19/01/2011 20:04

We could put together a DVD

LaVieEnTechnicolor · 19/01/2011 20:22

Sadly I seem to be immune from the Armitagian weight loss effect and am still as plump Rubenesque as ever. Maybe we should start John Porter Militray Fitness boot camps?

::smacks head::

What have I said?

::Has visions of self yomping through the local park and being required to do sit-ups::

Oh, the horror.

TheSmallPrint · 19/01/2011 20:23

Just in case any of you were worried Hmm I sorted my email. Well the nice people at the web hosting did anyway. Apparently I had used up all my disk space so they gave me some more for free and told me how to clear it!

Where is everyone?

TheSmallPrint · 19/01/2011 20:23

Oh Hello Techno!
