Just in case we need new premises tonight... :)

Foreign wives bazaar? Is that like a harem? Or, gasp, worse?

::fans self in Lady Bracknell manner::

I'm orf to beddybyes. Good night ladies.

PhoenixRisingFromTheAshes · 28/01/2011 23:42

Sorry, completely knackered - got to go...night all!

Theresaholeinyourmind · 28/01/2011 23:42

You know what I mean, Techno, I forgot the apostrophe. All the best people lose control of their apostrophe's.

Sweet dreams.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 28/01/2011 23:43

That makes three of us, Phoenix!. G'night all!

LaVieEnTechnicolor · 28/01/2011 23:48

::Looks back at you::

Yes, I know, Theresa. But the notion of some sort of auction at which the foreign wives were being sold off amused me. My apologies.

Sweet dreams, one and all

TheSmallPrint · 29/01/2011 09:34

Morning all! It's freezing here this morning, I am tempted to either put the heating back on or go back to bed. Hmmmmm.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 29/01/2011 11:41

Hmm I was a bit late for the croissants, then, nothing but crumbs left.

Wasn't that last photo Techno posted beautiful? Of course it's easier to look like that when you are acting being asleep.

PassTheTwiglets · 29/01/2011 11:46

I know it was a while back in the thread now but Small, very well done on finding that interview - brilliant!

Re. RA speaking French, funily enough I was pondering that a few days ago. He says the odd French word in "A Convenient Marriage" with a proper accent and it did make me sit up, I can tell you :)

OP posts:
Theresaholeinyourmind · 29/01/2011 11:56

That looks like another item for my list then, Twigs.

LaVieEnTechnicolor · 29/01/2011 12:27

Morning all.

Yes, sleeping Lucas is ineffably beauteous there, isn't he? I don't often think he looks beautiful - too much pain and torment going on behind the eyes - but there he does.

I found this too late to post it last night but .

::Leaves plate of hot buttered crumpets::

Theresaholeinyourmind · 29/01/2011 12:47

That looks like the cabaret in the cantina at Mos Eisley or at Quark's on Deep Space Nine, some Bolian Borg playing, maybe... Clever. No chance of getting recognised and mobbed by fans when you were out and about trying to conduct your lawful RL business.

That pic of Lucas was all I needed of crumpets, but I won't say no to one of yours, Techno.

I think he looks beautiful even in pain and tormented. Like some elvish creature out of legend

MrsLucasNorth · 29/01/2011 13:07

OMG! That picture is beautiful. I cannot even begin to think about how much I'd like to wake up to that in the morning!

Although Theresa has a point - the reality would be slightly different...

Had an evening out last night and gave the Chateau Gizzy & Polish cordial a miss in favour of Raspberry Mojitos - yum! The barman wasn't bad either Wink!

Theresaholeinyourmind · 29/01/2011 13:14

Sounds like fun, MrsLN.

The drinks etc I mean, not waking up nect to Lucas Grin

Although come to think of it...

MrsLucasNorth · 29/01/2011 13:25

Well, yes. Re the mornings thing, he'd be slightly wasted on me anyway as I'm so shortsighted that even at that close range I'd probably have to squint to get a decent look!

We also had spiced Apple Mojitos - they weren't bad either - a bit on the sweet side but definitely worth a try!

Theresaholeinyourmind · 29/01/2011 17:31

Well, after spiced apple mojitos, last night, here's another little sweet treat for you tonight, MrsLN. And for anyone who would enjoy an unusually upbeat, thud-studded Lucas vid.

He looks GORGEOUS in it.

LaVieEnTechnicolor · 29/01/2011 17:55

Oh be still my beating heart. I've always loved that song. Did you know it was written by Neil Diamond? That's my favourite bit of pop trivia.

Actually, I had heard that version of it before, in a slightly different setting, .

Theresaholeinyourmind · 29/01/2011 18:19

Who's Neil Diamond?

No, I am only joking, I haven't lived at the South Pole all my ex-pat life.

Great song, so the more times I listen, the merrier. And some very nice bits in there too

LaVieEnTechnicolor · 29/01/2011 18:34

I am enojoing The Tome, but it's a long slog - 550 pages read, 250 to go. I'll deserve some sort of medal at the end of it.

I am quite sure that even in the farthest reaches of Limpopoland they have heard of Mr Diamond. And if we are going far enough back into the archive to find dear old Mr Crosby,

LaVieEnTechnicolor · 29/01/2011 18:36

I'm even enjoying The Tome.

::Reminds self - never think your typing's good enough not to spellcheck::

MrsLucasNorth · 29/01/2011 18:46

A very sweet treat - ta muchly! I do like Neil Diamond (am obliged to really as I share a name with one of his songs Grin)

LaVieEnTechnicolor · 29/01/2011 18:47

So your name's Cracklin'? ::wink::

MrsLucasNorth · 29/01/2011 18:52

Grin you may think that I couldn't possibly comment - have given enough away already!

Theresaholeinyourmind · 29/01/2011 18:58

YT is having a slowness contest with Brian the Snail, so will get round to watching that as soon as I can.

Spell-checking will avail me not, me, It's one of those nights when my eyes are wonky. I shouldn't use that blooming facial scrub, No I didn't do my eyeballs but enough of the juice goes in them when I rinse it off.
So be prepared for typos a gogo.

I am still reading The Sonne in Splendour and the print in that is pretty darn small so I should imagine there would be a jolly sight more than 850 pages if it was a more readable size.

LaVieEnTechnicolor · 29/01/2011 18:58

No, of course I don't expect you to comment, hence my lame joke. Although I am always delighted when anyone channels Francis Urquhart (who, I suspect, might be a man after Guy's heart).
