Hmm. Now there's a topic that could keep us busy for days.

As I have mentioned, I am vair vair fond of this which, in the words of Mr Brando, .

You'll never guess what I'm going to say next about YT, Flowers.

Well, this lady has done the Sheriff as well, but no Gizzy.

Oh drat. I hoped we would outwit customs but obviously my offerings were too raunchy to be permitted to corrupt the good citizens of Limpopoland. They were the final scene of Bridget Jones

Nice boys don't kiss like that
Oh yes they bloody do

and the rolling in the waves scene from From Here To Eternity.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 04/01/2011 19:24

Hot stuff, Flowers, that last one, especially for those times, as we said before. The N&S one is still my favourite though, you don't need rolling about half naked on beaches to be ooh la la.

Mind you, I'd look at a re-make...

asmallbunchofflowers · 04/01/2011 19:30

Yep. I thought we had 'watched' it before, hence my surprise at its being impounded by customs now. What had you in mind for the remake?

Just seen a trailer for series 37 of Lark Rise to Candleford. Hey nonny nonny. We have a child-free evening, there's nothing on at the local flea pit and nothing watchable on the goggle box. Looks like you're all stuck with me, then.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 04/01/2011 19:30

Oh, bother, getting crazed looks and thumb jerks in the direction of the kitchen. I'll be back

I also love the Mark/Bridgert kiss, Missy. I like the way he wraps his coat around her too, aawww. You know he actually does proper naughty swearing in that line though, yes? I wasn't sure if you were being polite or whether your delicate ears weren't quite tuned to such foul language :)

asmallbunchofflowers · 04/01/2011 19:59

about the less obscene more becoming cossie, Theresa.

Yes, the coat wrap is very chivalrous and wibbly. The first time I quoted that line here, Twiggy, I had misremembered the swear word (probably because I am so refined and delicate, ahem) but now I deliberately misquote it because I find Mr Curtis' reliance on posh boys saying fark a bit wearing, to be frank (although Farkadoodledoo from Four weddings was a bit of a catchword in this house for a while). Offspring tells me I swear too much. Really. Oh the shame. So I do try not to swear on MN.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 04/01/2011 20:52

Well we all know how much of a domestic goddess Tansy is, good job I rescued the dinner from her pathetic efforts.

Was your spag bol okay, MrsLN?

Note to self re Bridget Jones, etc etc,: get ye hence to ye DVD shoppe

asmallbunchofflowers · 04/01/2011 21:02

Compared to moi, Tansy is indeed a domestic goddess. I was taking notes when you suggested forking fresh straw over the worst areas of the pig sty. Ahem.

MrsLucasNorth · 04/01/2011 21:11

Spag bol turned out ok. Just been watching 'Meet the Lockers' - I love that film. Can't wait to see the new one.

MrsLucasNorth · 04/01/2011 21:17

...or even Fockers...!

Theresaholeinyourmind · 04/01/2011 21:24

Lockers is more refined, MrsLN. And thanks for the dinner idea, I'll make spag bol tomorrow. Big batch of sauce, for future slothful busy days watching Gizzy scrubbing floors and ironing

asmallbunchofflowers · 04/01/2011 22:03

Ah, I saw the original Meet The Parents in my NFT days.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 04/01/2011 22:07

Here's a little for Flowers and anyone else who would like some Thornton treats tonight.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 04/01/2011 22:10

I have found a gorgeous Guy one but I am sure no one is bothered about that so I shall keep it for myself.

Mucho smouldering, shouting and sword action.

asmallbunchofflowers · 04/01/2011 22:14

Oh, Swoony MacSwoon.

asmallbunchofflowers · 04/01/2011 22:17

Oh go on. Share the Guy one. I'm always keen to see how the other half swoon live. Unless you have other motives for keeping it all for yourself?

Theresaholeinyourmind · 04/01/2011 22:17

You know, I wouldn't mind being possessed by John Thornton, I think it would be rather nice. But we better not tell him that.

PrairieOyster · 04/01/2011 22:18

Please share your gorgeous Guy pic, Teri!!

Evening!

asmallbunchofflowers · 04/01/2011 22:21

Is that possessed in the, cough, Lovelace sense? Or in the Philip Sidney sense?

My true-love hath my heart and I have his,
By just exchange one for the other given;
I hold his dear and mine he cannot miss;
There never was a better bargain driven.
My true-love hath my heart and I have his,

His heart in me keeps him and me in one;
My heart in him his thoughts and senses guides;
He loves my heart for once it was his own,
I cherish his because in me it bides.
My true-love hath my heart and I have his.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 04/01/2011 22:22

You will be cross with me cos it's violent! But

That initial shot is quite enough to make me disintegrate..

Golly I am so wicked, in the old sense of the word.
