No you didn't, MrsLN. It was ages before anyone spotted I was missing and you took advantage of my absence to swap lewd innuendos about the size of Mr Armitage's roles. I have read back you know.

I was on le continong, Theresa, with my very own Mr Thornton, aka The Long-Suffering Poet, although let us not forget that Mr Thornton is a well-travelled man and has been all the way to Le Havre. I have read your link showing that the Thornton smoulder has, alas, set fire to his mill in a delayed combustion. I got back too late to weigh in to your RH-buying dilemma but am sure it's sensible (and after all this thread is all about sensible, isn't it?) to start with series 1.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 04/01/2011 18:10

I knew you were missing immediately Flowers but I was being discreet in case the other Thornton fans were jealous and jumped off roofs --there's a lot it going about lately you know.

Hello Twiggy. The bateau, this time. I don't like the tunnel much - horribly reminiscent of being stuck on the Northern line - although it is useful when we're doing a quick dash on a Friday evening after school, when the speed is more of an issue.

Chateau Gizzy and a twiglet, anyone?

Ah yes, Theresa. Thanks to wifi, we are aware of the untimely demise of Nigel Pargeter. The Poet and I think that this is class warfare on the part of the Archers scriptwriters, given that poor Nigel was about the only truly posh member of the motley assortment. And I am mightily disappointed that Helen's baby is called Henry and not Willow Rainbow, as I predicted.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 04/01/2011 18:21

Yum, thanks Flowers, just the thing to celebrate my seconds-ago email from dear dear Amazon to say Gizzy is on his way to me, via Royal Mail. I hope they don't decide to borrow the Sheriff's coach to save money.

I am stil struggling with the anagram

You won't watch the dreaded Doctors but one of the docs's kids on there is called Bracken.

MrsLucasNorth · 04/01/2011 18:27

Theresa - Bracken & family have not been on Doctors for about 4-5 years! I think her middle name was Rainbow iirc.

Each section of anagram is 1 whole word - you should def get it Theresa!

asmallbunchofflowers · 04/01/2011 18:30

I seem to have an awful lot in transit from Amazon, including Moulin Rouge. That's your fault, Theresa.

Giuchie, Giuchie, ya ya dada

asmallbunchofflowers · 04/01/2011 18:33

Would that be a leather trousered hottie, MrsLN?

Theresaholeinyourmind · 04/01/2011 18:34

You haven't seen our telly, MrsLN. I'ts the BBC's international so called Entertainment Channel, and everything they show on it was carved on walls in the time of King Tut.

In EastEnders, the most current thing they put on, it's not even Christmas yet

Theresaholeinyourmind · 04/01/2011 18:37
asmallbunchofflowers · 04/01/2011 18:43

Oh Lordy. There's a thought, especially as Rod Stewart and a sleeping bag (don't ask) will also be exiting Amazon at the same time.

MrsLucasNorth · 04/01/2011 18:44

Grin Flowers - well done!

Guy at the Moulin Rouge...now there's an idea!

MrsLucasNorth · 04/01/2011 18:46

here's your prize Flowers

Theresaholeinyourmind · 04/01/2011 18:47

Bless him ,that would take the scowl off his face. Though with the big sword about I fear for Rod Stewart.

MrsLucasNorth · 04/01/2011 18:52

OMG! Not sure if this is cute, comical or everso slightly tragic!

Theresaholeinyourmind · 04/01/2011 18:53

I hope you are not thinking of putting Guy on stage, MrsLN?

He's just in the audience, right?

asmallbunchofflowers · 04/01/2011 18:54

That's a gorgeous prize, MrsLN, thank you so much.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 04/01/2011 18:55

Am loving the smirk on doll John's face...

asmallbunchofflowers · 04/01/2011 18:56

Those dolls. Eeek.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 04/01/2011 18:58

Wait till I get her on that station platform. boy am I gonna snog her face off, mwah ha ha!

Theresaholeinyourmind · 04/01/2011 19:02

Please tell me there isn't a Gizzy one. There could be a PLF one, I've no problems with that.

OMG, look at Edgar Allen Poe and the Raven...

asmallbunchofflowers · 04/01/2011 19:03

Like this, Theresa?

Theresaholeinyourmind · 04/01/2011 19:07

From the ridiculous to the sublime. Has anyone seen a better screen kiss than that one?

Theresaholeinyourmind · 04/01/2011 19:11

O what a cornucopia of crap. Our own dear Queen is there. And Lord Nelson --can't see if he had a blind eye...

Theresaholeinyourmind · 04/01/2011 19:14

Behold! The PLF
