I have no idea what Prince Valiant is/was about but will study teacups' important new resource once I am back from Ikea.

Lovely poetry. Sigh. I am feeling a bit cynical today and can't help reflecting that some of the blokes that wrote such lovely stuff didn't seem to act on such beautiful sentiments in RL.
Shakespeare abandoned his wife and kids in Straford, and Ted Hughes led Sylvia Plath a merry dance. Then there's bad boy Byron, and others I am too lazy to dredge up from that hole in my mind.

If I can do it, anyone can. I found out how to do it by accident. Youtube going in two windows, one behind the other. You click on the little loudspeaker at the left hand side of the one that has the vid you want to see,to turn the sound off. Then you can run your other vid which will be behind the one you are watching, but will give you the audio. Not very good as the synch will be off but it gives you a taste.

hmm - okay will give it a go.

I was listening to this earlier. Although not every detail corresponds, it puts me in mind of poor, silly, dead Marian.

Well, still baulky as anything but I lit up the backup and it will suffice in an emergency. That is the main thing.

I will put in a large Polish Cordial order for the faculty -- looks as if it'll be needed tonight

And I've just established that our libraries don't have Venetia as an audio book at all.

Offspring is watching RH instead of doing her homework. We have just had the Saucy Apple Moment. Wahay.
