Welcome to our newest faculty building. Make yourselves comfortable and ignore the smell of paint. We cannot keep up with the demand for new premises.

of course

Oh, groovy baby. But

Theresahollyinyourmind · 13/12/2010 22:13

Ha ha, leather is so kinky, eh? I had not heard that song.

OP posts:
asmallbunchofmistletoe · 13/12/2010 22:18

No? Well, it probably never made it to Limpopoland. Actually, I'm rather ashamed of posting it now because Google has confirmed that some of the lyrics are not really acceptable by 21st century standards. Ah, but life was different in the 60s when any young woman was a dolly bird.

MrsLucasNorthPole · 13/12/2010 22:19

DH home so BtS viewing interrupted. 1 phwoooar moment so far and about 1/3 of the way thru' episode 2!

PrairieOyster · 13/12/2010 22:26

Darn it MrsLNP - Did you have to quickly switch channels and pretend you were watching the news!

Theresahollyinyourmind · 13/12/2010 22:27

Oh dear, MrsLNP.
Here's a bit of for you and Missy.

Never mind about the lyrics to the kinky boot song, they are period, aren't they?

OP posts:
MrsLucasNorthPole · 13/12/2010 22:35

Oyster - that's exactly what I did - great minds think alike?! Xmas Grin

asmallbunchofmistletoe · 13/12/2010 22:38

Oh that was an utter visual delight, Holly. Although the choice of music was, ahem, idiosyncratic - I kept expecting to see Daniel Day Lewis running towards me brandishing his tomahawk. Very disquieting!

Let me find a little treat for you.

asmallbunchofmistletoe · 13/12/2010 22:42

From the forthcoming lecture series: .

Theresahollyinyourmind · 13/12/2010 22:48

I thought you might endure the soundtrack of my last offering as the pictures were just fine. He is rather lovely in too, which you could watch while I'm watching your latest find.

OP posts:
PrairieOyster · 13/12/2010 22:54

Yes the music on that Thornton vid was a little too "new world" for the visuals I think...

Theresahollyinyourmind · 13/12/2010 22:56

Oh Lawdy! I really shouldn't but as I've already lost my mind over that bad man, I might as well wibble and thud to the max. That was really something. Oh, and a bow and arrow too as well as the big sword.

OP posts:
Theresahollyinyourmind · 13/12/2010 22:58

The rate YT is cracking down on copyright ishoos, Oyster, it must be difficult to find a decent piece of music to go with a vid, nowadays.

OP posts:
asmallbunchofmistletoe · 13/12/2010 22:58

Yes, the music is rather goregeous, but it was like Proust's Madeleine in that I instantly had an image of a semi-naked Hawkeye on the warpath, which combined rather oddly with the lovely Mr Thornton. That second vid was just utterly, swoontastically, thuddingly ....

PrairieOyster · 13/12/2010 23:01

swoon

asmallbunchofmistletoe · 13/12/2010 23:03

Oops. Spellcheck failure. I meant to suggest it was gorgeous, not something from the Hammer House of Horror.

Here's a naughty late night treat for fangirl Teri, .

Theresahollyinyourmind · 13/12/2010 23:06

Amazing how different Thornton and Guy are, you can almost believe they are different men entirely. But of course there are a few clues Wink

OP posts:
Theresahollyinyourmind · 13/12/2010 23:14

I managed to smuggle it in, Missy.
But you are right, it is a bit naughty.
I had it going through my brain all day, few days ago, made the housework go with a swing, I can tell you.
Of course my brain censors the visuals before the watershed.

OP posts:
asmallbunchofmistletoe · 13/12/2010 23:15

Indeed there are. Although I still prefer Mr Thornton's cravat to Guy's frayed and grubby scarf.

I need to go and do some reading, so will bid you all good night. And goodnight too from our friend Mr Botticelli.

Theresahollyinyourmind · 13/12/2010 23:19

Goodnight Missy. Enjoy your book. Teri says thanks for the mucky artistic vid.

OP posts:
asmallbunchofmistletoe · 13/12/2010 23:24

I should be ashamed of exporting such filth, but I blame YT, and fangirl Teri would be bound to find it, even without help. Perhaps you could persuade her to watch it with more respectable lyrics?

asmallbunchofmistletoe · 14/12/2010 11:36
Theresahollyinyourmind · 14/12/2010 11:39

Well, is this a record? I am actually in first today! It must be all the high jinks last night that left you in need of a lie-in.

I am going to put some music on for you, meanwhile. If doesn't wake you up, nothing will

It's Lucas. And he's not sad. Oh, no!

OP posts:
Theresahollyinyourmind · 14/12/2010 11:40

Aha! There you are, Missy!
