Welcome to our newest faculty building. Make yourselves comfortable and ignore the smell of paint. We cannot keep up with the demand for new premises.

Of course now we have to have

Really? I don't like those specs at all. Harry's suited him far better.

asmallbunchofmistletoe · 13/12/2010 21:29

Ah, the mellifluous Mr Munro. Not in the same league as Mr Sinatra, but nor 'arf bad. And the final shot of Elisaveta leaving Lucas in the street is quite wibblesome.

Theresahollyinyourmind · 13/12/2010 21:30

That was irony, about the glasses, Missy.
They weren't the most stylish pair of bins I have seen. The face underneath them was okay though.

Please don't expect me to dance to that tune unless you are going to let me sit on a stool.

Hey!

Evening all - and how are my fellow students this evening? Sounds like MrsPole is otherwise engaged with Between the Sheets. And the poetry - you are all so cultured and intelligent...

PassTheTwiglets · 13/12/2010 21:33

Oooooh, so they were real glasses then, yummy!!! I remember oohing and aahing over them in that brief clip we saw but we decided they were probably protective eyewear rather than sexy glasses. But wayhey, ker-ching!

Now, what's all this about a conga? I believe someone mentioned Dr Track was here? Ah there you are, Alec dearest... please, do go first... no no, I insist! I mean, I really insist you go ahead of me. Ahem. Now then...

asmallbunchofmistletoe · 13/12/2010 21:34

So sorry. Given the diversity of taste in matters to do with men eyewear, I thought you might be serious. I remember when first they were glimpsed here, some of us thought they were safety goggles!

I thought I would join in the dance from the comfort of the chaise longue, where dear, dear Mr Thornton is still keeping me company. After all, it was he who first (unwittingly) introduced me to Polish cordial.

PassTheTwiglets · 13/12/2010 21:35

I do agree that Lucas should've gone to Specsavers but men in glasses still work for me anyway :) Presenting evidence for the defence

Theresahollyinyourmind · 13/12/2010 21:36

Maybe we should all check out the

asmallbunchofmistletoe · 13/12/2010 21:37

The rest of us have abandoned the conga, Twiggy. But don't let us stop you. On the other hand, if it's just you and Dr Track, why not attempt the Argentinian tango?

Theresahollyinyourmind · 13/12/2010 21:38

Hi Twiggy and Oyster, welcome to the Russian Conga

OP posts:
PassTheTwiglets · 13/12/2010 21:41

Alec, where did they all go? Oh dear, I guess it's just you and me then...

Theresahollyinyourmind · 13/12/2010 21:42

Oh, sorry, they weem to have given up on that while I was away. But you can still join in the Red Army Choir karaoke

OP posts:
asmallbunchofmistletoe · 13/12/2010 21:42

No, Twiggy, no! What have you done?

Theresahollyinyourmind · 13/12/2010 21:43

My fingers are still inebriated

OP posts:
PassTheTwiglets · 13/12/2010 21:44

LOL, Missy! (what disturbing sight though, surely not the lovely Mr Tennant?!)

Theresahollyinyourmind · 13/12/2010 21:44

So what's Guy been up to, or shouldn't I ask?

Theresahollyinyourmind · 13/12/2010 21:52

I think he had got nappy rash, Missy, so he must have sloped off to his lair, being as he didn't come back to the common room..

OP posts:
PassTheTwiglets · 13/12/2010 21:54

Bespectacled chipmunk?!?! Xmas Shock WhyIoughta.... (you did make me giggle with that phrase though :)) Oh, I completely heart David Tennant and his Dr Who glasses are just... mmmmm. I can see that he would be an acquired taste though.

Right, am hungry so need to go to bed before I eat. Though I understand that Twiglets don't have too many calories...

Night night, all.

PassTheTwiglets · 13/12/2010 21:55

Holly, maybe he was just shining his boots for you...

Theresahollyinyourmind · 13/12/2010 21:56

No calories, and very yum!
Goodnight, Twiggy.

OP posts:
PassTheTwiglets · 13/12/2010 21:56

The problem with that is that I now have Coldplay's "Yellow" stuck in my head, but with these words instead: Look at these boots,
see how they shine for you...

Really going now.

Theresahollyinyourmind · 13/12/2010 21:58

I referred toh twiglets, not the boots. Now the boots might actually get you to burn calories.

OP posts:
asmallbunchofmistletoe · 13/12/2010 21:59

Afore ye go, Twiggy, I wanted to show you this twigletty example which I had previously nor recognised as such.

I do find DT as Doctor Who very engaging, but not at all swoonworthy.

Night, night!
