Oh, shame, I won't be able to watch that then - will fast forward. Maybe it's more panto villain than real villain?

Night all, need sleep now!

Theresaholeinyourmind · 30/11/2010 22:38

Night Boden, hope you drop off to sleep with your lullaby.

MrsLucasNorth · 30/11/2010 22:48

Ahhh! Just managed to watched 'Lullaby' - am feeling all fluffy and romantic now - that's not going to help me sort John Lucas out! Grin

Sweet dreams, Boden!

Well, I have found which is different from what we've seen before. If we haven't seen it before of course. Grin
Sad, and no armour. And he looks so delectable.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 30/11/2010 23:12

And one for Maybe we've seen this but I enjoyed watching it tonight.

asmallbunchofflowers · 30/11/2010 23:40

The Guy vid is so sad, Theresa. Especially the final line of stay and make this place bearable. I don't think we'd seen that daguerreotype of dear, dear Johnny before. . He is such a fine looking gentleman.

Right. Must got to bed earlier tonight, as tomorrow is likely to entail battles with inclement weather, recalcitrant omnibuses, and other perils sent to vex A Lady. How lucky you are to be beside the limped waters of the Limpopo.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 30/11/2010 23:44

Indeed, Flowers. The fever trees are a bit of a pain, though and the hippos are a bit noisy.
I shall enjoy your last offering, then set up my hammock and pull on my mosquito net.
Goodnight

asmallbunchofflowers · 30/11/2010 23:52

But you have nightingales in the fever trees, Theresa. That must count for a great deal.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 01/12/2010 11:15

Oh, I'm first in today. This must be a record! The snow must be keeping you away.

asmallbunchofflowers · 01/12/2010 11:41

The Academy for the Sons and Daughters of Gentlefolk is closed because of the inclemency of the weather.

Very good idea someone to produce a version of RH with just the Guy bits in - this has been done for the occasional episode on YT but by no means all of them. I confess I don't think I could have the patience to sit through episodes of RH on DVD without resorting to the FF button when Guy is not "on screen".

Guy - oh Guy what have you done to me?

Theresaholeinyourmind · 01/12/2010 13:32

Oyster: ''Guy - oh Guy what have you done to me?''

Sister, I feel your pain.

No snow on the Limpopo so at least I was able to brave the hippos and rhinos and head for the trading post.

, O parents of snow-bound offspring.
Bodenbabe · 01/12/2010 13:43

Fab song to cheer us all up on a snowy day, Theresa! Some lovely shots of RA there and some godawful ones of Rufus Sewell. We are not snowed in and I will have done school run 4 times by end of day! Have to take the Minis sledging after school too, urgh. I shall be requiring something restorative after that.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 01/12/2010 14:23

I am glad you enjoyed it, Boden. My favourite shot is the one I always think of as Guy in a 21st century shirt Wink

This one is a , mainly for Oyster and myself as it is all Guy bits, pmsl. I appreciate the sentiment therein.

PrairieOyster · 01/12/2010 14:45

I'll have to leave the videos for tonight ladiez

Has anyone else spotted this yet - about half way down.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 01/12/2010 15:06

Thanks for that, Oyster. I am impatiently waiting for my copy of Venetia. I thought it had arrived yesterday and it was just some other thing. I was so disappointed

Bodenbabe · 01/12/2010 15:18

That was, like, well funny, innit! I was so, like, OMG and all that!

MrsLucasNorth · 01/12/2010 15:41

Have you guys all listened to the interview with him on the Naxos website about reading audiobooks. I know he's being himself rather than a character but it is just lovely...

Bodenbabe · 01/12/2010 17:35

No, I haven't read that, MrsLN, thanks for the tip! Will have a listen later...

Theresaholeinyourmind · 01/12/2010 18:02

There are actually two interviews.

This vid is for the Lucas ladies. It's impossible to find an upbeat Lucas vid other than the Benny Hill one, but he does crack the odd in this.

Bodenbabe · 01/12/2010 18:21

I've just realised that my "well funny innit" response sounded sarcastic! So sorry, it wasn't meant to be, I genuinely thought it was funny! I was just thinking about the Armstrong & Miller RAF pilots that I linked to a while back, for some reason...

Theresaholeinyourmind · 01/12/2010 18:43

I didn't take it as sarcastic, Boden, just teen speak Smile

is just screenshots but what screenshots. Oh, lawdy! Smiles, blue shirts and something totally, devastatingly oooo. Soppy song with it, but thoroughly justified soppiness in the circumstances.
Theresaholeinyourmind · 01/12/2010 18:53

PS For those who can't wait, the ooooooo moment is at 3.10 or thereabouts. But the vid is well worth watching all the way through.

PrairieOyster · 01/12/2010 19:00

Yes I've listened to those interviews before!!!

Have you seen yet? Stay with it and you'll understand...
