Who is winning so far?

asmallbunchofflowers · 30/11/2010 17:19

Is there some sort of electoral fraud going on here, Theresa?

Theresa - creative writing projects being seriously hampered by the ever presence of Dh (who normally has quite a busy social life) at the moment.
Not so easy to get my mojo working when he's constantly pottering in and out, although planning to ban him from the dining room tonight and see what I can do!

Would he need it, Flowers, would he need it?

Theresaholeinyourmind · 30/11/2010 17:22

Have you voted, Mrs LN? see previous page.

On the subject of John Lucas - how do we feel about men with piercings?

Theresaholeinyourmind · 30/11/2010 17:37

Put it this way then, Flowers.James Bond or Mr Thornton?

Theresaholeinyourmind · 30/11/2010 17:38

Only piercing blue eyes for me, Mrs LN. Although...

asmallbunchofflowers · 30/11/2010 17:46

That's my point, Theresa. As the choice is between Messrs Armitage and Craig, I don't know. If the choice were between Mr Thornton and Commander Bond, I might wobble for a moment but I would Do The Right Thing.

OP posts:
asmallbunchofflowers · 30/11/2010 17:47

MrsLN - I think a solitary earring can look quite rakish and piratical on the right man.

OP posts:
MrsLucasNorth · 30/11/2010 17:47

Flowers - seriously?!

I have to admit to being no expert in DC, but...

...for me RA also has intelligence and comes across as very sensual (as in in touch with ones senses not just sexy, though obviously...)

When it comes to DC (who lives about half a mile from my BIL incidentally!) I just think 'beefcake'

Theresaholeinyourmind · 30/11/2010 17:51

I agree, Mrs LN, for true hunkiness you have to weigh up body and soul.

MrsLucasNorth · 30/11/2010 17:52

Although I suppose intelligence and sensuality aren't necessarily 'hunky' in the traditional sense. Would still rather have 1 Mr A than 10 of Daniel Craig though personally.

asmallbunchofflowers · 30/11/2010 17:55

Yes, but the criterion on which we are being invited to vote is hunkiness, aka beefcake, rather than intelligence, handsomeness, beauty, wit or anything else. And we are being asked to judge them, not their screen persona, which I find both difficult as I know almost nothing about them as people and really a bit intrusive and objectionable (sorry to be so po-faced).

After all, if someone posted a poll saying who's more of a babe, MrsLN or Flowers? I would be offended whether I won or lost!

OP posts:
Theresaholeinyourmind · 30/11/2010 18:00

I suppose it depends on your definitions, Flowers. I am sure none of us intend any offence, but I do understand what you mean.

MrsLucasNorth · 30/11/2010 18:02

I think you might be taking it a tad too seriously Flowers! Grin

You'd object to being called a babe?

I clearly have no moral or feminist compass whatsoever!

MrsLucasNorth · 30/11/2010 18:08

Ok 'fess up? Who else has burnt the dinner whilst.discussing the relative merits of Richard vs Daniel Craig?
I can't be the only one...

Theresaholeinyourmind · 30/11/2010 18:10

Not me. Grin

MrsLucasNorth · 30/11/2010 18:20

Then you're clearly not paying enough attention Grin

StripeyMoon · 30/11/2010 18:59

thick question - how do you vote??Confused

asmallbunchofflowers · 30/11/2010 20:08

MrsLN - I admitted that I was over-thinking it (being neurotic rather than psychotic I have insight into my own condition) and I would simultaneously object to being called and not being called a babe. Confused

Bodenbabe · 30/11/2010 20:33

Re. piercings - not a fan. But John Lucas is your creation so it's up to you of course!

asmallbunchofflowers · 30/11/2010 20:39

OK. Time for .

PrairieOyster · 30/11/2010 20:52

Go with your first instinct. Always. But don't delay - vote closes today. Might even have already closed.
