PS - they played SexyBack at my mate's wedding reception yesterday - sure the rest of our table wondered why I had a sudden fit of the giggles!

Theresaholeinyourmind · 27/11/2010 22:23

Always worth another look, Flowers. And I watched Mrs LN's second one all the way through, I was interested on the writers' take, too.

You know, I can see why they decided to kill him off at the end of series 3. With it going on and on, it could only have deteriorated and RA would have been stuck in a rut too.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 27/11/2010 22:26

Watching Cold Feet in the bath should really help you get into the swim of things Mrs LN
I should have the water a little on the cool side too for obvious reasons.

What a delicicous assortment, MrsLN!

Boden - I can only find one vid which uses Song for Guy. It is, ahem, quite unusual in its art direction. . Can any Spanish speaker explain how, if at all, the (I think) clips from Spanish soaps have any relation to the rest?

Sorry about the kebab thing - was just trying to lighten the mood a bit :)

asmallbunchofflowers · 27/11/2010 22:35

Oh, oh! MrsLN. Have you noticed that they are using Sexy Back for the trailer for the Stephen K Amos Show?

As I've said before, this thread has broadened my musical horizons. Being introduced to Muse has been a real plus. Britney, possibly not.

Your last offering is a keeper, Flowers. Apples and gloves and all sorts of very forceful dashing about and shouting. And a big sword.
Gad, he is magnificent
I don't mind about the kebab thing at all Boden don't worry. You do need a bit of levity in a fraught situation. I am laughing at myself for being so upset, it's hilarious

Off to sample Mrs LN's bag of pick and mix now. YT a bit sluggish, so what else is new.!

Bodenbabe · 27/11/2010 22:40

MrsLN, love the image of you giggling upon hearing Sexy Back!

PrairieOyster · 27/11/2010 22:42

Hello!!! I've missed a few tutorials I think.

asmallbunchofflowers · 27/11/2010 22:43

Glad you liked it, Theresa. Naturally, I chose it solely for the Muse soundtrack and for its status as Conceptual Art. It has apples? and gloves? and swords? Really? Hadn't noticed.

PrairieOyster · 27/11/2010 22:47

Guy is magnificent, I agree with that notion.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 27/11/2010 22:47

Hi Oyster, how's tricks? Most of our tutorials are pretty much the same, when all's said and done. Almost as bad as EastEnders, you can pick up the plot straight away.

Bodenbabe · 27/11/2010 22:48

Evening, Oyster!
Checking in and checking out tonight. But the last paragraph of this made me chuckle. Night night.

asmallbunchofflowers · 27/11/2010 22:50

You don't so us justice, Theresa. We may always reach the same conclusion - or as the case may be - but we are constantly examining new source material, to test the validity of those conclusions or modify them as appropriate.

I knew he had a sonic screwdriver!
I want the 'all I got was this lousy teeshirt'' teeshirt.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 27/11/2010 22:58

Of course you are right, Flowers. I was trying to console Oyster, who may have felt daunted about catching up on all the hours we spend on here obsessing about RA personae carrying out learned research, arranging seminars and the like.

PrairieOyster · 27/11/2010 23:02

I'll catch up - not to worry!

asmallbunchofflowers · 27/11/2010 23:13

Of course, Theresa, but I suspect that Oyster has such a massive headstart on we novices that her knowledge far outstrips ours anyway.

We definitely have seen this very recently, but I heard the song today in one of the Narnia films and went .

One of my favourites, Flowers, Yum
I was musing on the lyrics earlier today while filling the kettle with milk making a cup of tea, that the line you're not handsome, it's true could be amended to you're so handsome in blue

asmallbunchofflowers · 27/11/2010 23:23

'Tis indeed yummy. But I always like the black and white films. (Think Casablanca and The Maltese Falcon). Your rewrite is excellent. Or perhaps we have to assume that you're not handsome it's true is just a provocative little tease?

Here's looking at you, kid

I am not sure if you won't slap me for it though Grin

Theresaholeinyourmind · 27/11/2010 23:39

That was exquisite, Flowers. Well sourced.

This one is singular but none the less compelling

Well it is late-ish after all

asmallbunchofflowers · 27/11/2010 23:46

Why would I slap you for the, ahem, novel vid? And, yes, very compelling indeed. If you like that sort of thing. Ahem.

So long town, I'm heading for Tuxedo Junction now
