I give up, I have just lost the whole darn dissertation! Twice!

Will try to do it in Word tomorrow and post it up that way. Load of old rubbish any way. As usual. But some very pretty pics.

Checking out your latest find.

I am sure it was the gloves that did it, re TTL

Drat about the lost dissertation. I'm sure it wasn't rubbish but, even if it were, rubbish and twaddle are closely related, surely, and we are Commanded by MNHQ to post twaddle here, are we not?

I think it's time, on this freezing night, to invite .

How about this one, then?

Baby, it's cold outside.

OP posts:
Theresaholeinyourmind · 26/11/2010 23:23

That was bliss, Flowers.

Could you open the second vid, Theresa, or was that just the portrait of my Dear Boy? And have no fear. Dixon will have escorted you from the premises long before any cravat-loosening happens.

OP posts:
Theresaholeinyourmind · 26/11/2010 23:35

Yes, I opened the vid okay, as well as viewing your latest Oil Painting.

How very divine he is.

But a word of warning. If, after you have spiked his cccoa, he should start unbuttoning the floppy white shirt and addressing you as ''Dear creature''... RUN

asmallbunchofflowers · 26/11/2010 23:41

Wow! I seem to have struck a seam of gold while excavating in the basement.

With all the chocolate, cream and marshmallows, perhaps we also need This, by the way, is possibly my favourite chanteuse. More than five bars of The Way We Were and I'm sobbing into my lavender-scented hankie.

OP posts:
asmallbunchofflowers · 26/11/2010 23:43

Run? Why? I thought that was just the sort of Compromising Situation which you were always trying to create on my behalf.

OP posts:
asmallbunchofflowers · 26/11/2010 23:45

Am now watching Jim Morrison on the telly, apparently miming to La Streisand. How surreal is that?

OP posts:
Theresaholeinyourmind · 26/11/2010 23:52

That worked just fine, fortunately. And how gorgeous to have a real bit of schmaltz about handsome romantic princes and the like.
such a wonderful change from the mundanity of RL.

But think of poor Theresa with a Prince of Darkness to contend with.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 26/11/2010 23:55

Well, I think he might have got the dear creature bit from Lovelace, and Lovelace-style compromising situations tend to be a little more compromising than you might bargain for.

But you know best of course.

asmallbunchofflowers · 27/11/2010 00:02

Oh, Theresa. I thought you had chosen your prince of darkness, which is why you are putty in his glove-clad hands. And that face!

What think you of Mr Jagger and his Band of Travelling Minstrels? They seem to have left this .

And with that I bid you a good night.

OP posts:
Theresaholeinyourmind · 27/11/2010 00:08

Okay I shall say goodnight quick so you can get on with your ahem, embroidery in peace.

Oh, true, I have gone over to the Dark Side willingly, but one does yearn for a nice uncomplicated cocoa-sharing moment occasionally.

The Stones are fine as long as I can't see them. Will check out your find and thanks.

Dixon, there is no need to shove me so hard!

asmallbunchofflowers · 27/11/2010 00:11

Yes, it's all about the cocoa. Oh yes indeedy.

Morning, ladies! Some sterling work was done last night, my congratulations. Flowers, I adored your dissertation. (You can't beat a bit of Billy Joel). Oh, but oh, how he looks at her at 1'31 though! I want somebody to look at me like that!

Oh how strange, just had a very odd reaction to 2'32, when she strokes his hand - it made me cry from the sheer beauty of the moment. Gosh, when I finally get to watch N&S in full, remind me not to watch it when I'm hormonal, won't you? Cheers. And hey, I didn't even notice the sideburns in that vid until the end :) I have a feeling that N&S is going to do Bad Things to me.

There are always so many tempting vids to click on after I've watched your pieces of basement research - some of the song titles sound perfect. I must have a rummage myself soon.

BodenBabe · 27/11/2010 07:16
- not a fan of the song/singer but there are some clips we haven't seen before. But what is 39 seconds taken from? (Cold Feet, perhaps?) Lustful Inquiring minds need to know.
MadameOvary · 27/11/2010 08:55

Morning All
Sorry, had to disappear without goodbyes last night.
Boden, will get on Amazon right away. N&S would seem to be the perfect winter weather choice.
As for that last video, that is one seriously dodgy jacket and haircut combo, and still he remains Our Richard. Quite an achievement methinks!

Theresaholeinyourmind · 27/11/2010 12:30

Well, Boden your little gem has quite cheered me up after a fraught morning. Oh lordy. What a find! Flowers, you may want to look away at 1.25 to 1.30 however.

Can you check the 39 secs thing, Boden, it seems to be a shot from N&S, very nice, of course but not as hot symbolic as some.

N&S is lovely, I can't see how it can do bad things to you.

Unless you are a dyed in the wool bad girl like me of course.

asmallbunchofflowers · 27/11/2010 12:49

Morning ladies across the globe.

Boden - So many treats in that generous bag of pick and mix. I even managed to withstand the crucifixion scene.

I quite liked the song, especially its opening line. I've got myself an .

OP posts:
asmallbunchofflowers · 27/11/2010 12:52

Oh, Theresa, I think the thing about North and South is that it may not be hot but it is a slow burner, with plenty of smoulder.

OP posts:
Theresaholeinyourmind · 27/11/2010 13:08

Theresa knows all about obsessions too. And had no objection to the song, which fitted in very well with the skilful vid editing.

Agree about N&S's calorific value, but you can't really define it as bad, just pure sweet bliss.

Unlike what you get with this gentleman
But maybe we should only look at that after the 9 o'clock watershed.

asmallbunchofflowers · 27/11/2010 13:17

Too late she tells us. That first painting is quite extraordinarily beautiful - one could almost weep at it. Worthy of Botticelli. And speaking of botties .....
