I see where you are coming from, Flowers. It was beautiful and sad as well as tragic and inevitable. She has pushed and pushed and pushed and strung him along, and he snapped.

Oh Mr Cohen is good isn't he? Nothing better for

''when the melancholy fit shall fall

Sudden from heaven like a weeping cloud,

That fosters the droop-headed flowers all,

And hides the green hill in an April shroud; ''

Theresaholeinyourmind · 25/11/2010 23:36

When was it white, Oyster? I have only seen series 2, so am pretty ignorant on such matters

PrairieOyster · 25/11/2010 23:37

Lovely

Oh, lordy, Oyster

PrairieOyster · 25/11/2010 23:39

I think he had a different horse in Series 1, but wasn't series 2 and 3 horse white?

I'm not an expert on RH, believe me!

PrairieOyster · 25/11/2010 23:41

I would like to see screencaps from ...

Theresaholeinyourmind · 25/11/2010 23:42

Not in two at least, it was dark brown or black--note technical terms, I know everything there is to know about horses. Grin

But enough about horses, that photo...

asmallbunchofflowers · 25/11/2010 23:58

I have only seen RH series 1, but in that [[
www.richardarmitagenet.com/images/gallery/RobinHood/album/seasonone/episode9/slides/rh109_074.html Guy seems to have, as well as be, a dark horse]].

But if we have abandoned poor Guy in favour of Lucas, I would remind you of this vision of beauteousness.

And so to bed. Good night all.

OP posts:
Theresaholeinyourmind · 26/11/2010 00:09

Mind you, I have seen Marion with a white horse, whose rump gets patted by Guy as a displacement activity. Lucky horse. This subject calls for a deep and detailed study.

Abandon Guy, moi? Heaven forfend. I keep him always in my heart. But Lucas is so fine, perhaps his ancestor was a Gisborne. You can't blame a girl for lusting looking.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 26/11/2010 00:10

Goodnight Flowers. Sweet Milton dreams.

asmallbunchofflowers · 26/11/2010 00:13

One moment we were bewailing Guy's fate, next we were looking into Lucas' blue eyes. A shock like that at my age could be fatal, I tell you. And we have entirely neglected dear dear Mr Thornton tonight.

A domani.

Tell me, Theresa, do you have any opinion on the works of Andrew Lloyd Webber?

OP posts:
Theresaholeinyourmind · 26/11/2010 00:21

Well, all ALW's stuff sounds like some other tune to me. Very confusing.

Mr Thornton can look after himself. He knows we care for him just as much as we do for our other darlings.

BodenBabe · 26/11/2010 07:22

Oh my, Oyster. That pic was beyond pretty. Oh those eyes.... I am so tired this morning but that just woke me right up.

Can't wait for the S9 DVD extras!! It's released one day before DD's b'day - do you think it would be a suitable present for an 8 year old :)

Theresaholeinyourmind · 26/11/2010 12:29

Well, all is very quiet here today. Perhaps you are all snowed in. Shall I draw the curtains back and collect the empties, or shall I just slump in a chair and plan my next dissertation, inspired by that very nice couple of photos last night

Body and Soul: beyond phwoar. or the construction of the heroic anti-hero

Heavens! What is this pussycat doing in here? Could Flowers have shut him in by mistake, last night?

BodenBabe · 26/11/2010 12:46

Snowed in like this, you mean?

Theresaholeinyourmind · 26/11/2010 12:52

Very superior snowed-in situation there, Boden. A shame it can't always be like that.

We would all turn back and look at him, wouldn't we?

How are you now, feeling better?

BodenBabe · 26/11/2010 13:11

I haven't seen that 'turn back' scene yet (have been avoiding it as I want to see it in context) but I so would turn back. Actually, I'd probably be blushing to my toes and whispering to the carriage-driver "Is he looking at me?! What about now, is he looking now?! Do you think he likes me?! Will you ask him for me?!"

Tee hee at the pussycat :) Here, kitty, kitty...

Theresaholeinyourmind · 26/11/2010 13:15

Pussycat, pussycat, will you be mine?
You shall not wash dishes nor yet feed the swine

When are you getting N&S, Boden? It's a huge treat. Even the music is swoon-tastic.

BodenBabe · 26/11/2010 13:43

Not getting N&S 'til Xmas, Theresa. Or failing that, birthday a fortnight after.

Pussycat, Pussycat,
You're delicious
And if my wishes
Can all come true,
I'll soon be kissing your sweet little pussycat lips!

Hmmm. Actually that just sounds weird.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 26/11/2010 13:47

Maybe a re-edit of ''sweet little'' to something more appropriate , like ''firm manly'' would work.

I couldn't think of something for ''sew a fine seam'' in mine...

asmallbunchofflowers · 26/11/2010 13:53

I am greatly looking forward to Theresa's forthcoming seminar.

OP posts:
Theresaholeinyourmind · 26/11/2010 14:03

Here, don't forget your cat, Flowers.

BodenBabe · 26/11/2010 14:31

Ow! Stop scratching, Kitty! No need to be so rough. Although...

Sit on a cushion and polish your sword?
