Oh FFS, I forgot all about it :) I was painting the flipping skirting boards again and forgot the time. Never mind, will check it out on iPlayer.

The Prardar shirt has 2 buttons missing, 1 button is the wrong colour and one button fell off when trying on! Oh well, it was too small anyway so will resell. Sigh.

A glass of Chateau Giz for me, please!

asmallbunchofflowers · 25/11/2010 20:17

Oh dear, Boden. I'm sorry the Prardar shirt has been such a disappointment. The Culture Show was great - a brief but glorious sighting of The Man.

Here's the Chateau Gizzy. Bottoms up!

Cin Cin!
Ahhh that's better.
Boden, iplayer is goooood, you can freeze frame Grin

Lucky you all, I don't get to see i-Player either. But I am so glad you weren't disappointed, and got to see The Man. I hope you all looked extra hard at him, once for yourself and once for poor little exiled Theresa.

btw, when I was checking the program out on line, there seemed to be repeats, later on today and then on another channel?

asmallbunchofflowers · 25/11/2010 21:07

Hello, Theresa. Would you like a glass of Chateau Gizzy?

I have to go and do my homework or it's detention tomorrow, but here's a very brief set text I found gathering dust in the basement. It's from the module

Theresaholeinyourmind · 25/11/2010 21:16

Flowers, you are getting as bad as me.

Wouldn't mind some Chateau Gizzy, though, if you have still got some to spare. Just the stuff to warm the cockles of my heart and put me in the right mood for my own homework, as set by you,

PS Does no one know the answer to my horse question, she asks plaintively.

FGS shut up, Teri, I can hear you all shout.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 25/11/2010 21:18

I meant re the bottoms up comment -- that bit got chopped off my post for some reason. Gremlins?

asmallbunchofflowers · 25/11/2010 21:18

Will be back later, time permitting, with a real three-lavender-scented-hankie weepie.

OP posts:
asmallbunchofflowers · 25/11/2010 21:19

Err, I could have said peaches up.

OP posts:
Theresaholeinyourmind · 25/11/2010 21:23

I must have words with your costermonger, Flowers.

BodenBabe · 25/11/2010 21:39

Sorry Theresa, no idea about Guy's horse. Lucky would be an appropriate name though :)

MadameOvary · 25/11/2010 21:43

Night all
Must run as DD has woken again.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 25/11/2010 21:54

Pmsl at Lucky, Boden.
Dobbin, Trigger, Silver...
I bet Oyster knows, she knows everything...
Not urgent though.
Night Mme O, sorry to hear that.

asmallbunchofflowers · 25/11/2010 22:34

Right. Homework done and ready to be handed in tomorrow. Just like Kevin and Perry's.

I think if Guy's horse had a name, Oyster would have been here by now with one of her authoritative MI answers.

So, are you feeling brave? Would you like to see my latest gem from the basement? No heart string left untugged.

OP posts:
Theresaholeinyourmind · 25/11/2010 22:43

Okay then, I shall call it Lionheart, until
Oyster tells me otherwise Grin

Go ahead with your basement plunder then. Though if it's anything like last night's parting shot I shall need to be brave. Shock Poor, poor Guy.

asmallbunchofflowers · 25/11/2010 22:53

I think this is rather beautiful - 'tis pity it's a bit cramped, but it .

OP posts:
PrairieOyster · 25/11/2010 23:08

No idea about the horse's name

Theresaholeinyourmind · 25/11/2010 23:12

So just how many of those hankies do you have there, Flowers??
How ironic that it's Marion that gets run through with a sword but my sympathies are all with her killer.

Yet I can't help understanding how it happened. I have felt such towering rage time or two .Would that have happened to me if I'd had anything sharp handy? Perhaps not in RL, ever.

You seem bent on showing me Guy's moment of destruction, Flowers. Hardening me up for Saturday, perhaps, when we get the episode in question?

Theresaholeinyourmind · 25/11/2010 23:14

Thanks for letting me know, Oyster. Daft question I know!

PrairieOyster · 25/11/2010 23:20

Oh wait, I don't know what it was called in the show, but I think that the horse's real name was Richie...

BodenBabe · 25/11/2010 23:22

that was so sad, Flowers!!! Poor, lonely Guy :(

asmallbunchofflowers · 25/11/2010 23:22

Fortunately, my dear dear Mr Thornton has given me dozens of handkerchiefs made from cotton produced in Marlborough Mills, Theresa.

Oh, it really isn't about showing you Guy's moment of destruction (although I do find that moment literally terrible, as he loses it completey for a second with such dire and irreversible consequences). It's far more prosaic than that. What grabs my attention now are the vids that aren't just the same old shots reassembled in a slightly different order. And, for those which we might be studying late in the evening, those which are not so raunchy that you'll be blaming me for a sleepless night. I am at best ambivalent about the warblings of Ms Dion, but I thought that last vid did conjure up some of that delicious melancholy associated with her compatriot Mr Cohen.

Oyster. I knew about Richie Grin In the absence of anything definite from you, I thought Guy might have disrepectfully called it Richie the Lionheart.
Take no notice of me, it's been a long day.

PrairieOyster · 25/11/2010 23:30

I really like that his horse was white.

I've watched the Culture Show clip, rather short, but, as already noted, glorious!!
