How do you find time for yourself?

At work, or driving to work 🤣

How much Universal Credit do you receive?

Tinahowls · 25/07/2026 13:40

How old is youngest through to eldest?
how many dads involved?
Do you plan an 8th

Oscillating · 25/07/2026 13:41

Why aren't you actually answering the questions?

WorldCupSadness · 25/07/2026 13:42

BabblingBiddy · 25/07/2026 13:37

How old are they all? Are any of the dads still involved? Does it cause resentment among the children if some see their dad more than others?

17, 15, 13, 10, 7, 5 and 3 months.
Only 7 and 5yo see theirs, supervised for 4 hours once a month. The older ones aren't resentful as they hate him (their previous stepfather, we fled DV), but it is vile when the little ones come home with heaps of gifts. That's on my ex though...

Around 4k a month (includes rent)

How many dad's are there?

Why did you have so many kids?

How do you afford to feed 8?

summerrevival · 25/07/2026 13:43

Why did you continue having children when you can’t support them? Why should I as a taxpayer support your children?

Oscillating · 25/07/2026 13:44

WorldCupSadness · 25/07/2026 13:38

Yep

What's different about this time?

Lots of different reasons... I did always want a big family though. Probably because I have no other family.

I'm excellent at budgeting, and I don't have expensive habits or go out 😅

Wowzer. You receive more in benefits than I earn.

Noodge · 25/07/2026 13:45

What are they all like personality wise? Are they similar of very different?

Do you feel you get quality time with all of them?

Do they have any good male role models?

Maybe our ideas of mess differ.

Why do you meet men so quickly, introduce them to your existing kids then have kids with them and then move on to the next man?

I realised I didn't want the man, just the baby I think 😅

No but in all seriousness, he raped me while I was pregnant, and all sorts was going on with him which made my life hell for months and I'm not risking that again. I literally don't need a man for anything

Well, yes you do

Which kids are to dad 1/2/3/4?

Tings · 25/07/2026 13:49

I come from a huge Irish family - one of my aunts had 9 kids.

I refuse to believe the older ones aren't being given far too much responsibility for their siblings.

It'd be very unusual if they weren't.

This is why so often the eldest daughter will leave home young, and have her own babies pretty quickly instead of leading a carefree teenage/20s life.

Babablacksheep12 · 25/07/2026 13:49

How do you afford swimming lessons? football etc
how do you read with them all each night/ spend time doing their homework?

I have 2 and struggle 😂 both working full time.

is washing non stop? I wash twice a day with bedding, clothes, uniform etc

how do you take them on days out - do you have a big car?
