AMA: Former model in late 30s often called beautiful by others

I'm a former model and now in my late 30s but still regularly described by strangers and friends alike as "beautiful." I've noticed that people who haven't happened to fall neatly into Western beauty standards are often curious about people who do, so AMA.

And if you just want to come and tell me that I'm conceited and probably not as beautiful as I think I am, that's OK too- we all need a hobby.

Absolutely not, I said I was never considered "cool", how on earth is that catty? If you can read cattiness into someone saying they're not cool then that's definitely a 'you' issue I'm afraid. If anything, it's self-deprecating as PP describes but it's also true.

Not really, it ran it's course and I had a lot of fun with it, I might still do the odd shoot for an old friend.

Drama is my passion and now my daughter is older my husband and I are taking turns to be in productions. Just amateur before anyone asks. 😉

Yes you! Jumping on the bandwagon 48 hours after everyone else. As you can see, I haven’t commented on any more of op’s posts for about 2 days now. Yet people like you have to continued quoting me 24 and 48 hours later to try and start an argument and yes, derail the thread and bring the attention back to my posts. I think that’s what you call derailing, love!

She really is very beautiful. I get compared to her a lot but she is definitely more beautiful than me! I've started getting Helena Bonham Carter more often lately.
