Thanks, that’s very helpful. I have to confess that when I left the hospital, I was thinking more about the ‘Yippee, free boob job!’ than I was about the rest of it! That was before I got the details and sobered up a bit

I totally get that, it was the silver lining I clung to! Make sure to do all your exercises after surgery, the stretching will get easier. One thing I’ll add is that the tumour side has healed for me more slowly than the other side and feels denser. I’m sure this is because they had to cut around the tumour while the other side they had more freedom to remove tissue where they liked. The T-junction of the incisions on both sides was the last bit to fully heal. I was able to keep nipples, but have seen pictures of the tattoed ones as it was a possibility I might need them - they look amazing! Best of luck with it all.
