Wow well done!!! That's astonishing. How did you get to that weight in the first place, and do you know have lots of excess skin? If so what are your options? Do you exercise as well as follow the plan? What made you start the diet and how do you stick to it? (You can probably tell I have masses to lose too)

thricethebrindledcat · 16/07/2018 18:12

How are you going to keep the weight off? The percentage of people who get weight regain is really high, sorry for the downer, OP.

Iputthescrewinthetuna · 16/07/2018 18:16

Got no questions, just wanted to say well done!!!

Thank you 😊

I’m 37 years of age and have been overweight since a teenager but over 20 stone throughout my late 20s and 30s. I did hardly any exercise and just ate what I wanted. I tried various diets and lost some but put all and more back on.

I do lots of exercise at the gym and walking.

I couldn’t fit on a ride at London dungeons and had to get off 😞

I’ve just made it my way of life and way of eating, do lots of planning and prep x

I’ll be following the slimming world maintenance plan and every time I go over my weight bracket I’ll return to the weight loss plan. I’ll also continue with my exercise.

Saying all that I’ve also promised myself there is no going back and I’ve maintained my weight loss for two months so far

Can I ask do you have a lot of loose skin?
Is there a way to stop this?
I have a little apron from where babies have really stretched me (10lb+ babies)
I NEEEEEED to get rid of some weight.

Littleshape · 16/07/2018 18:35

Well done!! Do people treat you differently now?

Redcrayons · 16/07/2018 18:39

Well done, that's amazing. You must look like a different person.

Have you had anyone tell you stop and now you're too thin? I lost 2 stone to get down to a size 12 (so a relatively small amout) and reactions of some people are really weird.

eeyoredebbie · 16/07/2018 18:54

Thanks for questions just going into a gym class so will come back x

Well done! How did you get back on track after a bad week/holiday or whatever. I really struggle with that

notanurse2017 · 16/07/2018 20:48

Well done!

ThatEscalatedQuickly · 16/07/2018 21:06

Well done OP that's a great achievement.

Have you found any of your friends and family were actually unsupportive of your weight loss or have you been surprised in any way (good or bad) by their reactions?

eeyoredebbie · 16/07/2018 21:33

Chocolate is a good one, or buffet type food like pork pie and trifle etc.

But you can shape the plan to fit quite a good variety of foods in and at holidays and high days I’ve allowed Extra treats. I try to eat a lot of the free and speed foods now though to keep myself full and I must admit I avoid pork pies now. I just remember how it used to make me feel, lethargic and gave me indigestion x

Yes I do have loose skin on my arms, spare tyre and thighs.

Ive done a lot of exercise and drank a lot of water. I’ve lost the weight over two years so I’m not sure whether it’s worse or better than it would be.

But what I can say is I’m much healthier now, I’m in size 12 to 14 clothes from size 34, people say I look 10 years younger. Loose skin can be disguised well. I’ve got my life back and I’d rather be how I am now x

Do people treat you differently now?

A lot of people already knew I was losing weight as I’ve shared it very publicly so they just tend to ask how it going and say I look good

What’s changed is my attitude to people. I look them in the eye, I’m much more confident and I stand up for myself more

Can you post a typical day's food before your diet and compare it
To what you eat now please?

eeyoredebbie · 16/07/2018 21:56

Have you had anyone tell you stop and now you're too thin?

Not telling me I’m too thin but asking if I’m going to stop yes. I have reached my personal target but I’m not yet under a Bmi of 25 so I’m undecided, but I’m really happy with my weight loss and where I am now. I tell People it’s my decision 😁

Wow OP well done you

eeyoredebbie · 16/07/2018 22:00

How did you get back on track after a bad week/holiday or whatever.

The SW plan is my way of living and eating. Holidays and events were well planned and prepared for so I could mostly on plan and have one or two treats a day like an ice cream and I always do lots of walking on holiday. I would be straight back on plan on my return. What helped me is vlogging on YouTube and sharing my journey on social media and swearing that I’m never giving up and never going back

What an amazing achievement. Well done.

Do you still stay to group? What was your biggest weight-loss in a week?

eeyoredebbie · 16/07/2018 22:04

Have you found any of your friends and family were actually unsupportive of your weight loss or have you been surprised in any way (good or bad) by their reactions?

My friends and family have wanted me to lose weight for years remember I’ve been morbidly obese for years. My sister was especially concerned when we went to London (when I had to get off the ride) as I could Barely walk and was so unfit.

They’ve been really supportive and understanding, cooked me the right food or been understanding when I’ve brought my own food. My sister and PILs started SW themselves and all lost weight
