We've done some research and asked around for recommendations, checked out lots and lots of reviews - it's a Cosatto bundle with everything including two car seat bases as well as the carrier, bassinet and everything. I need something sturdy as I walk everywhere and husband will have the car at work, so we want to buy new and invest in decent kit.

Our verdict

I tested the Cosatto Wow 3 Everything Bundle in the Silhouette colourway daily for three months with my newborn. This bundle includes the Acorn 2 i-Size car seat and the Acorn Rotating Family Base (I received the standard Acorn i-Size car seat base), although these are also available to buy separately if you opt for one of the smaller Wow 3 pushchair bundles.

Overall, I found it to be a practical and versatile travel system that fitted well into our everyday life. The Everything Bundle genuinely lived up to its name, arriving with all the essentials we needed and making us feel fully set up for travelling from the start.

I really like the design of the Wow 3. It feels a little different to a lot of the popular pushchairs on the market, and I had lots of people comment on its distinctive look while we were out and about. As a newborn, my son also responded well to the high-contrast black-and-white design, (newborns have limited colour vision and are naturally drawn to bold, high-contrast patterns, which are easier for them to see and focus on), which made it easy to start using the pushchair when he was very little.

It was also very easy to assemble, which meant we could start using it straight away.

In terms of how it handles, I’d describe the Wow 3 as a bit of a hybrid pushchair. It’s not a tiny lightweight stroller, but it’s also not quite an all-terrain pram that handles anything off road. It’s somewhere in between the two, and most of the time, that balance worked well for us. It was slim enough to just about fit through the narrow hallway of our Victorian terrace and manageable on buses into town, but it also coped well with rougher terrain at the park and at festivals.

That said, it won’t suit everyone. At times we found it tricky on busy trains or when navigating tight pavements, especially on bin day. I also wouldn’t recommend it if you know you’ll be travelling a lot by car or plane (there are plenty of great cabin approved strollers for that), or if you live in the countryside and regularly deal with bumpy roads.

Overall, I found the Cosatto Wow 3 to be good value for money as a travel system bundle, particularly if you want everything included from the outset and need a pushchair that can handle a mix of town use and occasional rougher ground.

How we tested the Cosatto Wow 3 travel system

  • Three months of near-daily use with a newborn

  • Used on everyday outings and errands

  • Used on buses and trains

  • Used on pavements, gravel, grass and uneven ground

  • Taken to two festivals to test its all-terrain capability

I tested the Cosatto Wow 3 travel system almost every day for three months with my newborn, using it as our main pushchair. This included regular trips around town, journeys on buses and trains, and everyday walks close to home, as well as longer days out.

To properly assess how versatile it is, we used the Wow 3 across a wide range of surfaces, including pavements, gravel paths, grass and more uneven ground. We also took it to two festivals, which gave us a good opportunity to see how it handled busier environments and rougher terrain than we’d normally encounter day to day.

Throughout the testing period, I focused on how the Cosatto Wow 3 performed as an everyday travel system rather than in one specific setting. This included assessing how it coped across different types of terrain, how practical it felt for regular public transport use, how easy it was to live with day to day, and how suitable it felt for use from birth.

Once testing was complete, I scored the Cosatto Wow 3 on eight key criteria: performance, quality and durability, ease of use, value for money, safety and stability, ease of folding and unfolding, comfort and storage. After adding all the scores up, the Cosatto Wow 3 achieved a total of 86 out of 100, which equates to a five-star rating.

Cosatto Wow 3 Everything Bundle

The Cosatto Wow 3 Everything Bundle comes with all the essentials you need for a newborn and beyond

Cosatto Wow 3 travel system: what’s in the box?

I tested the Cosatto Wow 3 Everything Bundle which comes with everything you need for newborn travel and beyond. The bundle I used included the standard Acorn i-Size car seat base, though the latest Everything Bundle now comes with the Acorn Rotating Family Base.

Here’s what arrived in the box:

  • Chassis with storage basket

  • 4 EVA puncture-proof wheels

  • Carrycot with sun hood, apron and mattress

  • Seat unit with hood and detachable cross-body bag

  • Bumper bar

  • 2 rain covers

  • 1 carrycot mosquito net

  • Cuddly companion toy

  • Multi-brand car seat adaptors

  • Instruction manual

  • 4-year guarantee card

The bundle also includes a few extras:

There’s a lot here, and it really felt like travel was completely covered from the start. While I didn’t test the rotating base at the time, having the car seat and adaptors ready to use with the pushchair made life a lot easier in those early weeks.

How easy is the Cosatto Wow 3 travel system to assemble?

Assembly of the Wow 3 took almost no time. Most of the work involves attaching the wheels to the chassis and then connecting the carrycot or car seat (using the car seat adapters) for newborns. Later, when you’re ready, you can switch to the toddler seat unit. Everything clicks together easily, with the instruction manual making it straightforward to follow.

The sun hood, rain cover and changing bag are all simple clip-ons, so you don’t need tools for anything once the main parts are in place. Overall, it was quick and easy to get the pushchair ready for everyday use, which was a relief when juggling a newborn and everything else that comes with them.

Cosatto wow 3 travel system colourways

The Cosatto Wow 3 travel system is available in nine different colourways

Cosatto Wow 3 travel system: how does it look?

Cosatto are known for their bold designs, and the Wow 3 is no different. It comes in a range of prints, including

I tested the Silhouette colourway and my son seemed to respond well to the black-and-white pattern.

The pushchair feels solid and thoughtfully put together. The wheels are EVA – a lightweight, puncture-proof, dense foam material, the chassis is lightweight but sturdy, and the handlebar has a simple, comfortable finish. The seat harness and buckle system are easy to use and adjust, and the extendable sun hood has decent coverage and loops for attaching toys or accessories.

I like that the bumper bar, rain covers and mosquito net all fit neatly with the rest of the pushchair. The fabrics feel soft enough for a newborn but not overly plush, and while the Wow 3 isn’t minimalist in style, it doesn’t feel overly bulky or too complicated to use either.

Overall, I’d say the Wow 3 has a distinctive look that stands out compared with more standard travel systems, and the detailing is practical enough to work in everyday use.

Is the Cosatto Wow 3 travel system safe and sturdy?

Yes, I found the Wow 3 to be very sturdy in everyday use. I never felt any risk of it tipping over, even when using the handlebar to attach a full changing bag. The Everything Bundle comes with a large changing bag that has Velcro straps to attach to the handlebar, and even when the bag was full and the pram empty, it stayed stable.

The pedal brake is secure and easy to use. It’s positioned under the chassis so you can press it with your foot to lock the wheels, and we tested it on several steep hills with no issues, it never slipped or failed.

The Wow 3 can be used with the Acorn 2 i-Size car seat, which has an overall ADAC safety rating of 2.4. It’s compatible with Cosatto travel systems and can also pair with other brands using multi-brand adaptors. The car seat can be used independently in the car, or i-Size compliant when paired with the Acorn 2 Rotating Family Base (sold separately). It meets the latest R129 safety regulations, is rearward facing, and suitable from birth (40 cm) up to 15 months (87 cm), either belted or ISOFIX when using the rotating base.

The carrycot and seat unit also feel secure on the chassis. The carrycot fits snugly and sits flat, making it suitable for overnight sleeping if needed. The chassis recline for the toddler seat is adjustable, allowing the seat to lie flat for naps or incline slightly for older babies, which adds to its versatility while maintaining stability.

Overall, I felt confident in the Wow 3’s stability, whether pushing on uneven surfaces, stopping on a slope, or attaching the car seat and carrycot. The safety features - from the secure brake to the i-Size compliant car seat - gave me reassurance that it’s a robust system for everyday use.

Cosatto Wow 3 Silhouette storage basket and carrycot

The Cosatto Wow 3 is compatible with a carrycot and the Acorn 2 i-Size car seat

How comfortable is the Cosatto Wow 3 travel system?

The seat on the Wow 3 is really comfortable, and my son seems to enjoy being in it. It has a magnetic buckle and can be reclined with one hand, which makes it easy to adjust while juggling a newborn. The seat can be used in both parent-facing and world-facing modes, and it folds on the chassis in either position, which adds day-to-day flexibility.

The sun hood is generously sized, offers UPF100 protection, and has an extra pull-out section for when you need more coverage. I found it handy that the hood can be lowered with one hand, which is useful when your other hand is busy. My son particularly enjoys the high-contrast black-and-white images on the seat, and it seemed to keep him engaged and comfortable from birth.

Is the Cosatto Wow 3 travel system easy to use with public transport?

During testing, we used the Wow 3 on buses and trains and it faired reasonably well. It’s not a particularly small pushchair, so there were times when squeezing it onto a busy bus felt a bit of a struggle.

For occasional trips on public transport, it works fine, but if you plan to rely on buses, trains, or the tube every day, a smaller, more compact buggy might be easier to manage. Overall, it’s doable, but you do notice the Wow 3’s size in tighter spaces.

Cosatto Wow 3 storage basket

What’s the storage basket like?

I found the under seat storage basket a little on the small side. For such a large chassis, I expected it to hold more, and with the carrycot attached, it was quite tricky to access.

Once the 6+ month seat is in place, it’s much easier to reach, and the basket is big enough to fit all the essentials for a day out. That said, if you tend to carry a lot of items, a pushchair with a larger basket, like the Uppababy Vista V3, might be more suitable.

There aren’t extra pockets or compartments under the seat, so you’ll need to plan what you pack carefully, but for everyday use with a newborn or toddler, it’s sufficient.

What is the Cosatto Wow 3 travel system like to use day to day?

The Wow 3 was easy to use in our day-to-day life. The carrycot detaches and reattaches effortlessly: you press the buttons on either side to release it, and it clicks back into place securely. Using the car seat adapters to attach the Acorn 2 i-Size car seat to the chassis is just as straightforward, making transitions between car and pushchair hassle-free.

The handlebar is thick and cushioned with a leatherette finish, giving the pushchair a solid, premium feel. I’m 5ft 4in and found the lowest position very comfortable, while my brother, who is 6ft 0in, was equally comfortable using it at the highest setting.

Living in a town, we needed a pushchair that could handle bumps, kerbs and uneven pavements. Most of the time, the Wow 3 coped really well. When fully loaded with a baby and shopping in the basket, it took a little technique to master, but it remained manageable. At a festival in the Cotswolds, it handled wet grass and uneven surfaces impressively without getting stuck.

That said, the suspension isn’t perfect. On a very gravelly track at the edge of a local park, the ride became a little too bumpy for comfort. It’s well suited to everyday town use and occasional rougher ground, but if you’re looking for a robust all-terrain pram that can handle any terrain, the Wow 3 probably isn’t the best choice.

Cosatto Wow 3 travel system: how easy is it to fold and unfold?

Folding and unfolding the Wow 3 is really straightforward. You just pull the handles up to fold it down, and there’s a small clip on the left-hand side that locks it in place once folded. The pushchair also has a carry handle, which makes it easier to lift, but at 12 kg, it’s quite heavy, so carrying it up and down stairs can be a bit of a workout.

When it comes to storing the Wow 3 in the car, it’s small‑boot friendly. Both the pushchair and carrycot fit easily into our VW Golf. In a smaller car like a Renault Captur, it’s a tighter fit, the carrycot goes in, but there’s not much room for anything else. Once you’re using the 6+ month seat, it folds together with the chassis, which makes it much easier to transport, even in a smaller boot.

Overall, while it’s not as ultra-light as some cabin-approved strollers, the fold is quick, intuitive, and secure, which makes it practical for day-to-day life and short trips in the car.

Cosatto Acorn 2 car seat and base

Does the Cosatto Wow 3 travel system come with accessories?

The Wow 3 comes with a good selection of accessories, especially if you choose the Everything Bundle. The pushchair includes two rain covers, one for the carrycot and one for the toddler seat. Both are sturdy and well made, and they’re easy to put on. Plus they’re made with a ventilation zip, which is handy if it stops raining but you’re not ready to remove the cover completely.

Most of the extras in the Everything Bundle are really useful. The Acorn 2 i-Size car seat is safe, well made, comfortable, and comes with a removable newborn insert, soft foam chest pads, and a generous sun hood. It felt secure for taking my son home from the hospital.

The changing bag is included as well, along with a footmuff and other bits. Although the changing bag is spacious, we weren’t completely sold on it. It’s quite heavy, and the zips don’t open as far as some other changing bags, which can make it tricky to quickly remove items when you’re in a rush.

The Wow 3 is well equipped, and having these extras included in the bundle makes it a very practical travel system from newborn onwards.

Is the Cosatto Wow 3 travel system easy to clean?

I chose the black-and-white Silhouette colourway partly because I wanted a pushchair that wouldn’t show every mark or stain. After three months of daily use, it’s still looking pretty good. The carrycot mattress cover has a removable, washable liner, and the footmuff can be washed on a handwash setting at 30 °C. The rest of the seat fabrics are easy to wipe clean, which makes keeping the Wow 3 looking presentable straightforward.

The black chassis has picked up a few scratches along the sides, which is perhaps inevitable when moving the pushchair in and out of cars regularly. Overall, though, the pushchair still looks in good condition and cleaning it day-to-day is simple enough.

Is the Cosatto Wow 3 travel system good value for money?

The Wow 3 is a premium pushchair that really offers the best of both worlds. It’s small enough to navigate buses and busy high streets, yet sturdy enough for country walks and uneven surfaces. It folds down to fit into relatively small car boots and has a distinctive design that stands out from the crowd.

In terms of cost, you can get a Wow 3 bundle for roughly the same price as the popular Nuna Mixx, and it’s a little cheaper than most Bugaboo travel systems such as the Bugaboo Fox 5. It’s definitely on the higher end of the market, but the quirky designs and the fact it’s designed and made in the UK make it feel a bit different from other premium buggies.

There are plenty of decent pushchairs under £500, and the second-hand market is worth a look if budget is tight. But if you’re looking for something a little different, practical, and versatile, the Cosatto Wow 3 is worth considering. Shopping around can also help you find a good deal on one of the bundle options, which makes it feel better value given everything that’s included.
