How comfortable is the Cosatto Yo! stroller?
The Cosatto Yo! stroller offers a comfortable ride for babies and toddlers with its multi-position recline, adjustable leg rest and all-wheel suspension.
The seat can be reclined to various angles using a clip at the back, and it reclines smoothly with one hand. “Although the stroller is advertised as 'fully reclinable,' the seat doesn't lay completely flat. Despite this, my daughter fell asleep easily and napped well in the semi-reclined position. Adjusting the seat to an upright position felt a little clumsy and sometimes required three hands, with an extra one to hold the seat up,” explains Rachel.
She adds that while the sun canopy offers impressive UPF100+ protection, which is very reassuring on hot days, she felt that it didn’t extend far enough, often leaving her daughter with the sun in her face. On the plus side, the canopy has a covered viewing window, which has been invaluable for checking if she’s still shaded.
What is the Cosatto Yo! like to use day-to-day?
“The Cosatto Yo! stroller is a joy to use day-to-day. At an average height of 5’6”, I found the handlebars very comfortable and didn’t have to stoop too low to push, and my 5’11” uncle also enjoyed pushing it around. The handlebars, made from vegan leather, are not extendable but proved comfortable for various heights without adjustment.
The stroller is effortless to manoeuvre over urban roads and paths. While it sometimes struggled on uneven, pebbled ground due to the small wheels, its front wheel-lock feature helps guide it over rough terrain, maintaining its performance as a compact travel buggy for urban areas. The slim yet sturdy frame and easy steering made pushing the Yo! around an airport a breeze. It glided effortlessly through turnstiles and crowds, often allowing for one-handed pushing, which is fantastic when holding shopping or a suitcase.
The storage basket, although a little shallow and prone to items falling out when overloaded, is roomy enough to fit a large backpack-style changing bag, some clothing items, and a few toys, offering enough space for essentials. Additionally, the practical storage pouch on the back of the hood provides easy access to wipes, snacks, and toys.
We had to use the stroller on two buses while traveling around the airport. It was great during busy times, as it’s quite compact and slim for moving around tight spaces. The brake felt very sturdy and reliable while the bus was moving, and it was easy to tilt on and off the bus.”
One thing to note is that the stroller is world-facing only and doesn’t have the option to parent-face, so might be worth investing in a stroller like the Wow Continental Pram with carrycot if you have a newborn.

Cosatto Yo! Stroller: does it come with accessories?
The Yo! doesn’t come with many accessories, apart from a matching rain cover and bumper bar, both of which are very useful. However, Rachel says that fitting the rain cover was unnecessarily difficult, which is not ideal if you're standing in heavy rainfall trying to keep your child dry.
“Once fitted, the cover does its job, but my sister also noted that it didn't sit properly and felt fiddly. The section covering my daughter's face also felt quite small, causing the material to sit uncomfortably close. Instructions on fitting the cover would be helpful, or the design should be more intuitive. A zip in the cover for easy access would be a significant improvement. Although the stroller didn’t come with a footmuff, I didn’t find it necessary during the summer months.”
