The Call Is Coming From Inside The House - short film

The title comes from A Stranger Calls and what follows is something that should be watched by every secondary school teacher, therapist, Dr and politician.

It's a short film - 40 mins - a compilation really of TikTok videos and other clips which show how gripped these young people are and what can happen to them.

One quote I will probably miss quote

"Mentally ill people need to know what is real."

I'm sharing because it's really powerful in a truly terrifying way.

In some parts of the world children rummage on rubbish dumps and eat balls of wet paper to fill their stomachs.

Watching this now.

What is concerning is seeing these compilations coming out recently, with the sheer number of teenagers posting these videos. I truly wonder just what people who deny that there is an issue see when they view these videos?

I noticed in one segment the overwhelming number of girls in the TikTok videos, though that could be editing, but we know what the stats show.

I've seen some of the clips before but seeing it all one place like that took my breath away. The sheer horror of seeing a young disturbed women who has had their nipples and everything removed isn't diluted by the number of times you see it.

So, so distressing. What on earth are we up to, affirming such harm? Poor young people - the adults are failing them dismally.

This is very powerful. And it's something all parents should see.

Just watched the whole thing and forwarded it on to DD, who is GC but has to keep it quiet because all her friends have bought into the whole identity thing. I think she sometimes thinks I’m exaggerating when I explain how damaging this all is. Some of those images and videos are heart breaking. Thank you for sharing.

Just awful. Those poor kids. How awful to have complications and side effects like that and know it was all avoidable in the first place. And then realise that your own experience and understanding of it all, based on what you’ve been through, isn’t even being listened to :(

It just makes me want politicians and the medical profession etc to fucking HURRY UP and SEE what’s happening. How can anyone by now not realise that “being trans” is not an automatic truth the second some suggestible teenager says they are? That we have to start protecting young people from irreversible, harmful “treatments” for something that might not even be there?

I watched this and The State’s “is gender ideology a cult” today, and I have a new found rage.

I knew it was happening, it’s a car crash, but to see it all packaged up with clip after clip like that is just mind blowing… how can anyone defend this?

@QueenPeony “It just makes me want politicians and the medical profession etc to fucking HURRY UP and SEE what’s happening.”

This!

But I guess there’s too much money to be made in the meantime, so no rush. And others have been brainwashed into thinking this affirmative approach to what’s going on here (trying not to get deleted) is kind, is the right thing to do. It’ll take a lot more pain before they have nowhere to avert their eyes and have to see it for what it really is.

I had double mastectomy for cancer in my 40s. Looking at these young women cutting off healthy breasts is too much. God how I hate the term "top surgery".
Mastectomies left me with permanent nerve damage and hypertrophic scarring which causes me pain every single minute of the day.
The thought that young women might be experiencing this because of some insane ideology and the greed of doctors and ludicrous affirmation from therapists.... I really dont know what to do with my anger.
Every single fucking adult ally with their affirmation agenda needs to sit and watch this film.
That poor kid saying how scared they were and how they just wanted to go home will haunt me.

Thanks for sharing this. I only intended to dip into it but I watched the whole thing.

It really underscores why a national health service is such an important thing in civilised society. People become outraged by reporting standards at the BBC because we know how important it is to have an impartial media organisation. It's just as important to have an impartial, evidence based medical body that prevents vulnerable people from exploitation for profit. I know the situation at the Tavistock is very concerning but we've got a heck of a better handle on it than the Wild West of the USA, and a much better chance of bringing it back into line.

Was the gender therapist at the end being confronted Marcie Bowers? Anyone know?

It also got me wondering whether the thing that might finally turn the tanker will be if we see an epidemic of regret spreading among the same cohort who were influenced by the first craze, then bringing law suits. It's a depressing thought but it could become the next chapter.

But why isn’t the fact that we are seeing detransitioners at all making people wake up?

There is an affirmation model even in the uk - obviously questioned by some, but widespread in schools and the nhs, parroted by most politicians, causing issues in prisons etc. It’s demanded by transactivists on the basis that you are what you say you are, that everyone is inherently accurate and to be instantly believed about their “gender identity” the second they declare it.

But that’s clearly wrong, detransitioners and regretters make that obvious. If it’s wrong we should be screeching to a halt or at the very least banning irreversible treatments for under-25s. If there was any other radical surgery for minors with this rate of complications, harm and turning out to have been the wrong decision, it would be stopped surely.

Even if you were just a cynical money-grubber you’d want to steer clear of doing this because lawsuits are a risk? I just can’t see why it’s still happening. I keep thinking I’ll wake up to a massive breaking news story about this horrific scandal, but it just continues.

Bowers is a surgeon not a therapist. I assumed the person being confronted was a talk therapist. They are the ones affirming patients and writing letters to access surgery.

Thank you for posting the link OP. It's a powerful video. So difficult to understand the capture of institutions, govts, and the medical profession.

I'd seen many of these clips already, but seeing them all together is breathtaking.

I've decided I will send it to everyone I know is on the fence or does not quite understand what's happening.

Can we all send links to our MPs? At least some of them will watch it, possibly with their whole office staff or family.

I have only watched the first 5 minutes and just getting settled. But had to say my god what a fucking legend Jung is.

My friend who is a psychologist gave me his copy of The Red Book when I was in the midst of a psychotic break.

The story of the Red Book itself is I think going to be similar to the story of this film. In that it was only really due to his work with Schizophrenics that he then thought himself he had psychosis. And when you open that door some people can choose to step into it - follow it, chase the exploration in a way. Hard to describe to anyone whos not been there.

But hes a legend because I find a lot of what he said extremely insightful and profound. Insanity I think is a sane reaction to an insane world after all.

So in conclusion I hope these kids watch out for themselves. No one can do it for them, and searching for finding ones true-self is one hell of a sure route to losing yourself entirely.
