All the news here. Safe Schools Alliance and Fair Cop are supporting a 14 year old girl take action against the CPS not he basis their LGBT hate crime guidance puts her at risk.
To quote SSAUK "We find it disturbing that this guidance seeks to control the ‘personal thoughts’ of children, we believe this to be damaging to children’s mental health. It also has a chilling effect on free speech which is the antithesis of effective #safeguarding."
The girls says ""Girls should not have to stay silent when they are uncomfortable with males in their toilets. This is supposed to be anti-bullying guidance but I feel intimidated that I would have to stay silent. That's not anti-bullying; not for girls."
This is big news, please share as much as you can.
This is brilliant news, have shared where I can.
I am sure the women here would want to pass on our thanks to all involved, but particularly to the teenage girl taking the action. We do not underestimate the courage and fortitude this will take, but thanks to her, others will speak out.
How on earth did we get to a stage where girls have to take government agencies to court to ensure they can have access to single SEX spaces?!
Exactly, it beggers belief doesn't it?
Thanks for sharing.
Brilliant news!!!!! More power to those involved
Outstanding SSAUK. Those guidelines are some of the most offensive I have ever seen (and there's plenty of choice for that title) along with being completely unmanageable and inappropriate for schools.
I'll be happy to dig deep for this one.
Excellent. It needs to be exposed again and again, this is not compatible with current law and policy in the UK, or giving basic fair treatment and equal standards to women and girls that are being demanded of them by people born male.
Very brave girl putting this forward.
Is anyone else having trouble donating?
Can you pm the error ruffle?
This guidance is forcing girls to consent to sharing single sex spaces with males. Forced consent is no consent at all.
Kudos to this girl and her family.
This is really heartening. Thank you.
Donated
Donated. Thank you.
Wait what? This is after Oxfordshire CC and the Trans Toolkit? I heard Warwickshire have dropped theirs already.
You adult human females sure are super sheroes atm! Bit broke but will donate when I can.
Donated and shared.
What a brave 14-year-old, presumably also backed by sensible parents. Best of luck to them.

Brilliant. The CPS "hate crime" guidance is shameful.
Hello. Mum of one very brave and determined 14 year old here. She has asked me to thank you all for your support - she is a victim of bullying herself to the point where she changed schools, so she wants proper guidance in schools about bullying. She's a mature, thoughtful, and resilient girl, and I am extremely proud of her.
Great news. Hopefully more and more people will find out what is happening to our young people. Where has safeguarding gone?
Congratulations on raising such a strong and principled young daughter, TheBigBad. I’m sorry she was bullied, but she should keep in mind that many of her schoolmates will admire her bravery, even if they’re too frightened to speak out.
Sending all best wishes to your daughter TheBigBad. It is unthinkable what is being done to girls / young women by adult groups (like the CPS) who frankly should know better. She is a fantastic role model to others.
You must be very proud of her BigBad Come the hour, cometh several remarkable young women stepping up in these court cases to speak for women and girls.
Donated. Thanks
Brilliant young woman, well done! This could be the start of it all!
She's a mature, thoughtful, and resilient girl, and I am extremely proud of her. & thanks to you both.
Hi BigBad wow your DD is just....wow.
Whatever you've done, keep doing it as you're doing something right. She must feel grounded and secure and been taught to have the courage of her convictions to fight for what is right. Quite a winning combination.
What an example. What a warrior.
She shouldn't need to do this but I cannot express how glad I am she is. We are with you, keep going.
Donated. What a fantastic young woman your daughter is @TheBigBad
