This is what it has come to. A women thrown out of a women's network party because of a man, or more accurately, a boy's feelings might be hurt. What the fuck is going on?

What are they so afraid of. They can prove she's wrong anyway cant they Hmm

Hang on, he posted tweet saying that someone managed to call out or about down sone transphobia at the party. Poses with a picture of who did it.

So nothing was even said and she was asked to leave?

So nothing happened and he's playing the victim ?

It's not clear what happened yet. The woman who was asked to leave hasn't given a full account yet but intends to I think.

The only way this could possibly be justified is if she went into the party, zoned in on Madigan, persistently and aggressively shouted and abused, and refused to stop when asked.

Did she?

Be also interesting to hear about whether it was actual transphobia or whether she just asked some questions

She probably used those "literally violent" words "Liam" and "he" [sigh]

Did she get 10 of her friends to shout slogans into Lily's face?

GretchenFranklin · 12/12/2017 12:51

Did she say I thought this party was women only?

Unbelievable. I'm an out and out leftie, but this is textbook stalinist tactics. I hope this explodes back on them.

I just asked my female relative who lives in Rochester what she thought of him and she had no idea who he was, she is younger than me so i told her about him and am i wrong to feel he is a git and she replied OMG this sounds weird! Another lady and probably her daughter turned gender critical.

Perhaps the word women is now becoming redundant.

What is the point of Labour Women's Network?

I still have a subscription in place. I will not be renewing. I've been to many of their 'conferences'. I don't feel any more empowered.

YippiKiYay

I wasn't there but from what I'm hearing from people who were, Lily wasn't even spoken to by Venice Allan and another woman asked her to leave as it was triggering.

Of course, this is second hand information.

I saw this on twitter too, but would like to find out a bit more about what happened.

I think it was her very presence. Since the doxxing, lily (and friends) now knows who she is and can have her removed from a function that she has a right to be at.

Wow. The Labour party has been a weird place for many years now and it's just getting weirder.

Where is the actual politics? Its all issues and campaigns. What are they trying to distract us from?

Did anyone leave with her, in solidarity like. If not then what a humiliating experience to have to go through on your own, please tell me some left with her.

A woman is excluded from a women's event because a man pretending to be a woman wanted to be there and wanted her excluded. And this at an event of one of the country's 2 main political parties.

This is really really bad news.
