This is what it has come to. A women thrown out of a women's network party because of a man, or more accurately, a boy's feelings might be hurt. What the fuck is going on?

I am new to all this and writing this in the go but as a women who holds a very senior management position I have been reading up on what I can over the last year regarding gender and sex and the trans movement.

I can see how women are in for a really tough time of it around gender recognition.

I am often thinking more from a point of view as to how will I ensure companies are held to account on equal pay for example? Wtf about the census?

What the fuck I will do to resist businesses from taking away women only toilets. I am also incensed about the treatment of children in all this bullshit trans cult and interested in the role of pharmaceutical industry in all this.

I would normally support Labour and never conservative but I feel I can't support Labour now.

I want to go public but am afraid and that is shocking for me as I actually have power but don't want to risk the wrath of this trans cult.

What I have been doing is having conversations with people and letting them know how ludicrous it is and what women and children have to lose. I will try meet one on one with my MP.

As for the women being attscked at speakers corner and the ire directed towards Linda Bellos and Germaine Green - well it is frightening. I just wonder how they even have the gumption.

I am disgusted by the abusive messages that trans activists are directing to women on twitter.

Love Jenniferjames 😀😀Thanks

And dr radfem's personal details have been posted and someone asked if this was the contact details that Lily Madigan tweeted about which I think is a fair question.

Lily Madigan also retweeted a picture made by some punk mocking dr Radfem and rearranging her jewellery to read as asshole.

As for Lily Madigan being awful to her family I don't get her petulance but think she/ he is young and super entitled and so naively enjoying all her attention and maybe she/he is unwell. Her poor family and siblings especiallyThanks I hope Lily Madigan is reading mumsnet.

Oh and I suffered 2 very bad tears during Labour I resisted the mesh stuff because I didn't trust the male consultant I was seeing - thank god and changed consultant to a female one. I don't see how Lily Madigan could have a hope in hell of supporting anyone who had become doubly incontinent as a result of childbirth or suffered period poverty or who was trying to breastfeed whole working full time.

Whereas Linda Bellos - I would love speak with her, her impressive record of public service. I mean didn't she initiate black history month and then consider how at the age of 70 (or thereabouts) she is no platformed or abused and accused of being a bigot. Blows my mind.

Sorry that was quite a ramble but I am incensed and hope Lily Madigan reads this thread and someone with half a brain in the Labour Party reads it. SmileAngrySmile

newz2day that was amazing. Please think carefully about how you can use your power to help while not putting yourself at risk.
Issues about equal pay could be a good way to go, esp if you have access tp data and could model the impact in your company

pisacake · 15/12/2017 20:42

So Lilly is retweeting some calling Venice Allan an asshole, and destroying her jewellery, publicly on Twitter.

But when he was called a dickhead on a private FB forum, this was horrific harassment, transphobic hate crime, etc.

pisacake · 15/12/2017 20:43

sorry dicksplash

newz2day · 15/12/2017 20:59

Yes thanks I don't want to out myself but at one company I was able to bring in massive pay changes to equalise pay between women and men.

Up to 45 percent uplift in pay was not uncommon and one woman had her annual salary doubled.

Equal and similar roles undertaken by men and women but women had come from companies that didn't pay well and men had come to the business from working for companies that paid well. Recruitment was often done by asking people what they earned in the previous business and then adding an uplift for the new role. This is still how most people are recruited into businesses today so existing and historical sexism and discrepancies stay.

I have to say women were treated well at that business but I needed to have data to push these decisions through.

I was really well supported as a woman and it was a very diverse business.

Also what was really interesting was that women had not complained about pay they actually considered themselves paid well on an industry level. It was only by really analysing the data that I could see there were issues.

newz2day · 15/12/2017 21:01

Pisacake yes it is disgusting what LM is retweeting. Surely the Labour Party have to act now??

Also it is in a different league to DrRadFem sending a message within a FB group. Angry

bambambini · 15/12/2017 23:02

I’d need to know what really happened at that party between Venice and Lily to judge who (if anyone) acted inappropriately. However, Lily is delighted that it looks like Labour are going to be turning on sny members who don’t accept the transwomen are women dogma.

pisacake · 15/12/2017 23:03

Yes, Lily is going pretty much non-stop on his 'silence the transphobes' schtick.

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 15/12/2017 23:06

Does Lily remind you of the GFs we get here sometimes who know exactly what buttons to press, but stay just the right side of the line so MN doesn't delete them?

I almost get the impression Lily is trying to manufacture outrage against herself.

Maryz · 15/12/2017 23:49

Does rooting out misogyny include misogyny from transactivists such as Adrie van de Meer (or Lily herself, with the Saville comments).

bambambini · 16/12/2017 00:35

Got a feeling it’s just going to be women rooted out, the ones that bleed and bear children type of women. Just burn the witches unless they shut up and do as they’re told.

Unfortunately Labour appear to have learned nothing from the last few years in politics, that when you reject and alienate a large group of voters they get together and vote somewhere else against you. And an unholy mess like Brexit happens.

The most depressing realisation I've had over this farce is that all the main political parties really seem to be this unable to think, predict and have basic common sense. It's like being run by the sixth form council with all the bitching, ideology and total lack of life experience.

My thoughts exactly!

SpartonDregs · 16/12/2017 08:44

And mine. So many women have turned into trans zombies chanting transwomen are woman.

The logic we are up against is this...utterly batshit. From a man of course. A gay man. Who, if the transmovement have their way will be accused of hatespeak if they turn down a transman with their vaginas and xx and all.

SpartonDregs · 16/12/2017 08:45

I would point it out but he has already blocked me for pointing out that he literally defined feminism and what a woman is.

Thehairthebod · 16/12/2017 09:19

Yes, this is so true. It all started with Gordon Brown calling that woman 'bigoted' in public for expressing concern about immigration. Then increasingly the working classes were alienated in favour of the young, trendy m, gentrified liberals. And now they are going to alienate women as well. And all that will be left will be a few right ons chanting 'Jeremy Corbyn' in an echo chamber somewhere in Bethnal Green.

Serves them right. Slow hand clap for you Owen.

How sad though. I have always voted Labour, even in the last election, and have been proud to do so in my very Blue constituency. I don't know what will happen to them next.

WTAFisthisshit · 16/12/2017 09:52

Lily just confirming that trans rights are MENS rights.

No one gives a fuck about the non binarys and the transmen/TIF's/FtM/however you define gender non conforming XX

MentholBreeze · 16/12/2017 10:11

If you treat a trans woman worse than cis women

Well, then he's got a long way to go before anyone says anything transphobic to him, judging by the public tweets at least, it's all been very mild compared to what a woman in the public eye gets!

SpartonDregs · 16/12/2017 10:13

Why would he go for women's officer if he thinks trans people get treated worse than women?

Datun · 16/12/2017 10:15

Where the hell has this idea that feminism is a people’s rights movement come from?

SpartonDregs · 16/12/2017 10:25

Where the hell has this idea that feminism is a people’s rights movement come from?

I haven't got a fucking clue.

They seem to genuinely think that women get a better deal than a man in a dress. And that wearing a dress for one day means that they have effectively grown up as women and experienced all that a women has experienced and more.

It is utterly batshit crazy.

SpartonDregs · 16/12/2017 10:26

Which does lead back to the mental health issue.

Fekko · 16/12/2017 10:37

Sadly the thin end of the wedge was rammed in a while ago and we humoured it/didn't realise. Pink wedge, eh?

haveyouseemyhamster · 16/12/2017 12:20

So Ireland have passed the GRA while abortion remains illegal. Hmm
