This is what it has come to. A women thrown out of a women's network party because of a man, or more accurately, a boy's feelings might be hurt. What the fuck is going on?

That photo isn’t on Venice’s Twitter account (that I can see?). It looks like someone has added it to a screenshot of her tweet to highlight what she allegedly did.

AssassinatedBeauty · 12/12/2017 21:01

That supposed selfie isn't on Venice's twitter as far as I can tell. It's an altered version of her original post that had a different pic without anyone in the background.

catgirl1976 · 12/12/2017 21:03

If that was selfie it would be on DrRadFems phone

So how would however posted it on Twitter have the image?

Unless it wasnt a selfie at all but someone shoved a phone in her face...

Not very bright this lot are they

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 12/12/2017 21:06

Apparently there was a lot of deleting going on this AM, I'll see if I can find the tweet

Terrylene · 12/12/2017 21:07

It does not look like a twitter screen shot. It looks like the original tweet, with another photo and added on message. It is funny that only one person saw it and so late on in the day. You would have thought it would be tweeted during the event, if at all.

Muthafunker · 12/12/2017 21:08

The Labour Party needs to respond. If a feminist can't attend a Party women's event then we are all in trouble. Total madness!

Terrylene · 12/12/2017 21:09

Also, if you click on the person who posted it, it does not take you to their page any more.............

SpartonDregs · 12/12/2017 21:13

if this was a womans' event, who is that bloke stood in front of the yellow circle?

Fekko · 12/12/2017 21:13

Mavis

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 12/12/2017 21:21

Ok, the deletions I saw were not related to this matter

But

And this may be interesting,

It seems like 2 days ago several (primarily) labour folk have deleted any retweets of Helen Lewis, Caroline Criado Perez, and Janice Turner, I wonder why?

Nuffaluff · 12/12/2017 21:30

How interesting. If you're Labour you have to be seen to be going along with all of this, don't you?
'Problematic retweets' are not allowed.

SpartonDregs · 12/12/2017 21:40

that is why normal feminist mps are completely ignoring any questions relating to the GRA.

SonicBoomBoom · 12/12/2017 21:53

How many of the more notable Labour women have actually spoken out clearly on the trans side? Eg Harriet Harmen, Stella Creasey, Yvette Cooper and their ilk?

Because I'm thinking (hoping) that if they aren't vocally All About The Penis Women, then that means they are gender critical feminists, who just feel as threatened about speaking out publicly as the rest of us, and so they don't say anything.

SonicBoomBoom · 12/12/2017 21:54

And ItsAll, that is very interesting.

hipsterfun · 12/12/2017 21:55

Is Caroline Criado Perez on the list of heretics now? What was her offence? (Sorry, haven’t been keeping up. Last time I looked, people were having an unreasonable go at her over banknotes.)

SpartonDregs · 12/12/2017 21:59

I havent seen Stella speak up for trans. My hope is that she and the other silent ones are just being cut off at the knees rather than support this insanity.

Surely it is abuse to encourage people to get their bodies mutilated?

DeleteOrDecay · 12/12/2017 22:05

This is insane. A women gets booted out of a women's event because their presence might be offensive to a transwoman!?!

SpartonDregs · 12/12/2017 22:06

It is indeed insane.

LangCleg · 12/12/2017 22:33

I think the silent women Labour MPs are terrified of being deselected.

Thehairthebod · 12/12/2017 22:34

I would also like to hear both sides of the story on this.

I simply cannot believe that a woman was chucked out of a woman's meet up just for being there?

christinarossetti · 12/12/2017 22:36

Why is this difficult to believe? DRRADFEM aka Venice Allan is pretty out there on social media and YouTube. She comes across as pretty credulous tbh.

Why can't her description of events be taken at face value?

CunningOperative · 12/12/2017 22:39

SpartonDregs I saw Stella Creasey after the Reclaim the Night march arguing with a radical feminist woman. She said at least three times that L Madigan IS a woman and was very much supporting the trans narrative. She was also defending Ruth Hunt.

Thehairthebod · 12/12/2017 23:00

On Twitter now Madigan is sharing this as evidence as to why they might need to feel unsafe.

Now I don't know if they are just a bit thick, but I think what Venice is saying in this message is that they shouldn't make nasty memes about Lily as she is obviously very unstable ('save our meany memes for Izzard and Clitoris') . Oh and she called Lily a 'dickhead' which is hardly threatening. And she didn't tweet it to Lily either, it was in a private group.

I mean, yes, it's not the nicest thing to say, maybe Venice isn't a particularly nice person I don't know, but it's hardly big leagues of threatening behaviour is it?

Thehairthebod · 12/12/2017 23:01

Oh, this is what Lily is sharing. Venice says she didn't make the meme.
