She's just been interviewed on C4 news and has said essentially the same as Jenni Murray.

Let's hope these two high profile women saying this stuff to a wide audience helps to start the tide turning

Transwomen are transwomen Hallefuckinglujah

Report
AnyFucker · 10/03/2017 19:32

She said transwomen have not lived the experience of women. That they have benefited from male privelige and that transwomen are transwomen.

I think she also said that gender is a social construct.

She said "Gender is not biology. Gender is sociology ... transwomen are not the same as woman who've been women 'from the beginning"

She's wonderful anyway. I'd like to say I'm not surprised- but I am because saying the right and obvious thing is dangerous.
Poor Cathy Newman looked petrified.

What times are these. Sad

Look at the intelligence of the women speaking up, and look at the vitriol and foolishness on the other side, no contest.

She is fabulous, I have only read Half of a Yellow Sun, which superb, if harrowing. She came across as so intelligent and dignified. What a woman. I am going to read some more of her books.

That's amazing. I love her; but so many people I love have disappointed me on this issue that I was giving up hope. This is great!

Seems to be a lot of white men on the Facebook link dismissing what she has to say. Almost like MRA types are loving the whole transgender bullshit.
