Ugg Wilcox boots

Happy new year everyone!! As my Christmas present I have ordered a pair of these lovely boots but my friend who has them says they are a suede kind of leather. I really need them for muddy parks and dog walking so they need to be able to stand up to that. Does anyone have any and can tell me how robust they are?

My Wilcox boots arrived just this morning and so far I'm liking them. I wouldn't say they are suede like, more like oiled leather. I think they will look even better when they are 'weathered' in. Its too early to tell how robust they will be but they certainly feel substantial. I wouldn't think twice about traipsing through the park in them.

This may be helpful but I had to buy one size up.

The details say that they are waterproof.

Nice boots, yet again heartbroken that Ugg don't make boots big enough for my massive size 9s.

I'm really excited about them! Hadn't noticed they say weatherproof, that's a good sign. I'm worried about sizing now though - am a very standard 7 but now think I should have ordered the 8 as well as they have free returns...

bike when I was growing up even my size 7s were too big for lots of shoes. One of my 3 year olds is already in a 12 and I'm sure she is set to have lovely big feet and be lovely and tall....just hope the world will have moved on a bit by then and she won't have too much trouble with things like this.

Ooh I have these! I've had them for 3 months and whilst they aren't suede and they are wayerproof, I do try and avoid anywhere really muddy (the kind of place that would be better with wellies). That being said, the bit of mud I have got on them has come off easily and the thick sole makes them perfect for walking.

The best bit is they are ridiculously comfortable and warm. I take a size 7 usually and have them in 7.5.

I think a 7.5 would be perfect but they don't seem to stock them in the ugg store....

Office told me that Ugg only make half sizes because you need to upsize Confused. I'd like to order these but am worried about sizing. I'm a 4.

They are great but they do mark easily. No substitute for wellies imo but well worth getting! Great deal. I sized up - on their site it says (e.g.) 4 but when they come the box says 4.5/Eu 37. Bit confusing. I usually take a 4 but have quite wide feet and the 5 is a good fit for me.

I ordered a 5 and a 6 and when they arrived they were a 5.5 and 6.5. 6.5 fits me the best. I'm going to love this boots.

I believe that If you ordered a 7 then you will get a 7.5.

I have the Tisdale, very similar but taller, loving them so far and I've had lots of compliments. Uggs have USA sizing and the half size difference on the boots is to do with the way the sizes are converted apparently. I'm a very standard size 6 and my 6/39 which say 6.5 on the boots fit perfectly. I've only had them a week and haven't tested their mud resistance yet!

Love the look of these but worried they look strange on my chunky calves and will create a strong cankle look Sad

They are arriving tomorrow.....I also have chunky calves but I was hoping the booty beauty would detract from my imperfections....I'll let you know! Free returns though so you may as well order and try....

I don't think you'll be returning as I think they are quite flattering. I've been stomping through puddles in them since they arrived on Friday. Love them, so cosy and comfortable. Best boots ever.

PersisFord Arrived just in time for our UK weather to change. Weather is forecasted to get chilly from Wednesday onwards. Widow I have the black and if I had the money I might consider the stout.

I love this style but went to a shop as I like to try on and was gutted. They look great but I like a soft leather from the start and not to have to 'break' in a shoe so I didn't buy...
