Morning all!

here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness once more

So now we've completed the first half of Bootcamp. Some trials and tribulations along the way, but hopefully you've all settled into the swing of things and it's becoming easier and more like second nature.

Just a reminder - if you haven't already - to check out the recipe threads, which are all stickied at the top of the Bootcamp topic. Some really nice ideas there to inspire you.

And also, just in case you haven't seen this thread here's one which is about good low carb products that people have come across

If you post on that thread - and please do! - please post a photo of the front of the pack and also the nutritional info on the back of the pack.

Hello thank you BIWI.
I have sts for the third week running however I tend to dip 1lb midweek. My weekends are to blame so I will double down more. I am hoping to lose 2lbs this week to make up for the last couple.

Morning!

No movement this week, but I was almost a pound lower (new low) yesterday, so keeping on.

Mum goes into a nursing home today, so extra reminders plz to stay the hell away from the office biscuit box.

Starting weight: 18st 10lbs (262lbs)
Weight now: 13st 13.8lbs (195.8lbs)
Lost so far: 4st 10.2lbs (66.2lbs)
Target: 9st 5lbs (131lbs)
Left to lose: 4st 8.8lbs (64.8lbs)

Hope the scales are kind for everyone this week!

Ahh, those drops from one number of stones to the next are HUGE! Completely irrationally so, but so cheering!

Well done Toots.

@MrsBertBibby thank you! I know, not sure why, but mentally getting into the next stone bracket makes such a difference.

I’m going with my low last week of five pounds off and ignoring the fact that my weight has shot up after a weekend of camping wine and sourdough.

So back on it and am aiming to be at back to where I was by the end of the week

I’ve got some long days at meetings out of the office so am going to have to make sure I get salads from Pret to avoid the tray of sandwiches

I lost 3lbs this week. Firmly in the 11's. I might actually be on track for my first mini goal of losing a stone before DPs birthday the first week in July. Hopefully going to make it to 11 stone 5.5lbs.. I'm 10lbs down overall so steadily losing 2lb per week which I'm pleased with Smile

Thanks for the new thread, BIWI.

I was a bit mopey this morning because I was only down 1lb, only my thigh measurement has decreased and neither I nor DH can see a difference.

Then I realised it was 4 weeks since I tried on my ambitious-target shorts and t-shirts, so thought I might as well give it a go and take another picture and I am now COMPLETELY converted to taking photos alongside everything else! Only a 4lb difference on the scales between these two photos.

Down 4 lbs, so 9.6lbs off in total!

Back home from surgery, which is likely to result in lots of weight loss unconnected to BC, but I'm going to still hang around here if that is OK? All I've done is sleep!

Good luck with your Mum today MrsBert

Thanks for the new thread BIWI

I’m in your camp istillmissblockbuster, good all week and then slip slightly at the weekend. Think I’m going to have my official weigh in on a Friday morning and the success should keep me on track over the weekend. I’m not diverting much, just the odd thing but it adds up doesn’t it.

Wow toots! Getting into that next number is fab.

Definite difference on those shorts verylittleowl.

Glad you’re home nigella

Lovely to read the other losses, bit of a kick in arse for me.

Have a great day everyone

That is a brilliant photograph @VeryLittleOwl! Just goes to show that it is definitely not all about the scales.

Glad you are feeling better @m0therofdragons and hope you are resting properly @NigellaAwesome.

I'm back from my Italian sojourn and have put on 0.6lb. I'm ok with that - I largely stuck to LCHF with lots of mozzarella, prosciutto, salads, etc (didn't have any pasta or pizza or bread!) with yoghurt and berries for breakfasts etc.

However, I did have a glass or two of wine everyday and I did allow myself a pudding or ice-cream. I also didn't drink enough water because I was worried about not being able to get to the toilet quick enough.

My NSV is that there are actually a few photographs of me where I didn't think how awful I looked, I actually looked quite good (for me). I also didn't feel self conscious in what I was wearing or spend lots of time worrying I looked fat etc. Need to bottle that feeling for next time I am tempted to fall face first into crisps or chocolate!

Well done @verylittleowl! And great job to everyone who lost this week!

I has a rough week. My scale battery died so I couldn't weigh myself Monday. I also was too busy to go on mn this week, so didn't even look for support! (Warning, excuses ahead! ).

Between an insane week at work, celebrating dh and dds birthdays (made 72 cupcakes for school) and hosting a party for 50, attending a dinner with friends and a school function, I was well and truly off the wagon. Too much wine, a few chips and 2 small pieces of cake (over 2 parties). Its shocking how bloated I felt after chips and cake. Was up in the night thinking I was going to spew! I have no one to blame but myself Blush

Thia week I have a leaving party, birthday party and another school function, but I am firmly in the right mindset! Back on track. My family is having pizza tonight, I am having leftover roast chicken and Greek salad.

Leas than 2 weeks until my summer holiday starts. Going to go very low carb and see if I can shift about 4 lbs!

Have a great week everyone!

Fell off wagon with 2 glasses of wine on Thursday and then wine on Friday (considerably more than 2 glasses). Went into Saturday and a party where I ate curry (minus rice) but succumbed to a bit of Naan bread and lots of cake and fizz. Was in total self-destruct mode on Sunday and gorged on crisps, had a bagel, ice cream - total, total binge.

2.5 pounds gained this morning (13st 11.5) Reducing my total loss over 5 weeks to 5.5 pounds. Am not too gutted about it as my weight loss is so uncharacteristically slow on this boot camp I know I’m not going to get anywhere near my original target. I’m sad about that but there’s nothing more I can do (other than stick to the bloody plan!!) Am determined to get back on track this week starting now. Good luck everyone and if you’ve fallen off the wagon, just get back on it!

1.5lb off for me which after a 2 week stall (actually a 0.5lb increase) is good Smile

If I went by yesterday's weigh-in, it would be a definite whoosh as it was 2.5lb off Shock but it's not stuck Sad (my dad's lasagne and the glass of wine last night didn't help - although I only had a very small portion do it was only a wee bit of pasta and pile up on the avocado and tomato salad - followed by a fruit salad - mostly berries but with some apples too, with creme fraiche.)

But I've decided not to go with yesterday's weight so that I've got room for manoeuve this week Grin. We're also going down to stay with a friend of dh's this weekend. Because they're not friend's on mine (and dh also hasn't met his friend's wife), I haven't told got him to tell them I'm on a HFLC WoE, so will just have to do my best to minimise the damage Hmm

Oh well done @VeryLittleOwl. I couldn't face a photo of my stomach but wish I had now.
I completely forgot it was weigh in day (wonder if I'd have forgotten if I hadn't overeaten last week) so will weigh and post my weight tomorrow.

I did have a 2lb drop mid week but a combination of my period being imminent and having an intended off plan meal yesterday means I've stayed the same.

I've bought the ingredients for the tartiflette posted by BIWI in the previous thread, plan to make it tonight. Hopefully it's as delicious as it sounds!

I’m still catching up on week 5 thread (am diligent about thread reading but still miss loads).

Had to come here to say thank you to BIWI for the Celeriac Tartiflette recipe (which reminds me of Boris Johnson for some reason)—it looks utterly amazing and will replace the Dauphinois recipe I was planning this week. Written with smug “yes, I have celeriac in my shops” typing.

Also, 1wildsheartsease deserves an OBE for services to comedy for posting and at that difficult age between birth and death Grin

3 lbs off this week (taking into account the 3 lb gain two weeks ago though). Very pleased.
