It’s just seaside silly humour. No I’m not offended. Why are you?

DriftGames Sat 28-Nov-20 09:11:01

It's just a bit of a joke, tasteless but I wouldn't find it offensive.

sandgrown Sat 28-Nov-20 09:11:28

No . It’s seaside postcard humour.

Rainb0wDrops Sat 28-Nov-20 09:11:47

Not rip roaringly funny but I'm not offended

EveryDayIsADuvetDay Sat 28-Nov-20 09:12:02

it's a bit 1960's - I do find it in poor taste.
What was the context of the post?

buckeejit Sat 28-Nov-20 09:12:05

Yes it would annoy me & id pass comment. There's no group that I could imagine this kind of 'joke' being appropriate. It wouldn't ruin my day though

Nc135 Sat 28-Nov-20 09:12:24

Not offensive no. But equally very childish and unoriginal.

Besswess88 Sat 28-Nov-20 09:12:46

Because it’s so smutty and it absolutely objectifies women.

Maybe it hits a raw nerve with me particularly because I have large boobs and have had to put up with shit like this (comments) my entire adult (and teenage) life.

It's poor taste but not offensive. I'd make my judgements about the person who posted it.

SchrodingersImmigrant Sat 28-Nov-20 09:13:03

I giggled.
Not offensive. It's a silly humour.

TreacleHart Sat 28-Nov-20 09:13:12

I see it and think 1970s bad taste humour. It doesn't offend me because I think that time is over.

FippertyGibbett Sat 28-Nov-20 09:13:23

Cringy in this day and age, but not offensive.

Besswess88 Sat 28-Nov-20 09:13:25

It hasn’t ruined my day ...

It's not funny and it reminds me of Benny Hill. Outdated and should stay in the past where it belongs

bert3400 Sat 28-Nov-20 09:13:40

It would of been better if it had actually been funny

KihoBebiluPute Sat 28-Nov-20 09:13:47

It's a useful way to filter your acquaintances for people you want nothing to do with, because no one worth knowing would find it funny. However it shouldn't be censored - freedom of speech makes it easier to spot and avoid the arseholes.

Tadpolesandfroglets Sat 28-Nov-20 09:14:02

Yes. I think I’d awful. And not funny.

PrincessNutNut Sat 28-Nov-20 09:15:00

It's one of those ancient "naughty postcards". A bit naff and embarrassing but I can't get too worked up over it. Has the sharer never seen them before?

Cam2020 Sat 28-Nov-20 09:16:25

I find it pretty revolting. It's that old fashioned seaside humour as PPs have already stated.

Look no further than this forum to find people being offended by absolutely anything and everything, so you are just following the fashion.

Unless it's a caricature of some work colleagues against their will, then no, it's not offensive. Why would it be.

VainAbigail Sat 28-Nov-20 09:17:10

It’s not offensive but you do seem to have taken it personally.
