I only properly realised when I looked at the recycling. I think we've had a drink every night this week. Prosecco on a weeknight? Yep.
Anyone else found this?

I think everyone must be by the state of the shelves in Sainsbury’s- literally empty of wine!

Tons. I’m rather hoping it’ll finish me off if the virus doesn’t!

Initially, but not any more. My mental health will end up in the toilet otherwise

TolpuddleFarter Thu 26-Mar-20 22:51:35

Yes. I usually drink once, twice a week at a push. Drank three times already this week and the week isn't done yet.

Wasn't me - I bought mine in Aldi hmm

Sains aren't restocking wine!! Huge row when I was in there (yday not me), did get ladies point as I know it's non essential but we're trying to only shop once a week a. So......

Yes. I find myself looking forward to a glass or two of wine in the evening rather more than I probably should.

DakotaFanny Thu 26-Mar-20 22:52:28

Yes. Yes. Yes.

RedSoloCup Thu 26-Mar-20 22:52:58

And to answer original q yes what else is there right now 😂

Reginabambina Thu 26-Mar-20 22:53:31

Yes. I rarely drink usually. Since this started I’ve raised the cupboard of random bottles of alcohol that people have given us over the years that have thus far remained untouched.

Me too! Bizarrely, I want a lunch time glass of wine and then I’m not bothered in the evening - which is totally different to before.

BogRollBOGOF Thu 26-Mar-20 22:55:48

A bit more.
I had a medical appointment last week and was asked if my consumption was still 0-4 units per week (I often go a month without and not notice) and I did quip "at the moment, but it will probably go up)

I normally do a lot of mum-taxiing in the evenings, and have lost my usual routines of being in and out umteen times a day.

WotchaTalkinBoutWillis Thu 26-Mar-20 22:55:55

I'm finding the opposite - I usually nip out for a bottle of wine on an evening, now I'm not as obviously not going out to the shops as much.
Plus last time I went, feckers had stripped the shelves dry of all the wine anyway so definitely having less here which has to be doing me good! grin

Kingcole Thu 26-Mar-20 22:56:21

Down to last bottle of Malbec and then onto a Hot Toddy for foreseeable future.

bombaychef Thu 26-Mar-20 22:56:21

Yes. Lots

MrsT1405 Thu 26-Mar-20 22:57:35

Oh yes! On day 13 in Spain, cheap wine , passes the time. We think 3 euros is expensive! 3l for 5.50 euros, what's not to like! Except my poor liver!
