Can’t really get my mind round this tbh though i was aware of another male Laurel Hubbard taking medals in the Women’s Weight Lifting World Championships earlier this year. Are we really ready for males winning the Women’s Wimbledon Title and the women’s Olympic 100m Final?

Wonder how the silver medallist feels, knowing she'd have had gold if someone hadn't cheated. Sad

SaltyMyDear · 15/10/2018 14:53

Totally shit. Can’t believe how quickly we’re going back to the 50s where women were so undervalued.

Penny1976 · 15/10/2018 14:55

I just posted this on my facebook.

And got about 10 comments from various people who think this is cheating and disgusting and completely unfair to the women who have trained so hard.

And lots of likes.

And a couple of private messages of support from people who are waking up but still have to pretend to be woke in public.

I shouldn't have said "someone else's fantasy" I should have said MENS' fantasies.

SlowlyShrinking · 15/10/2018 14:57

I can’t really believe this is happening, but it is. What I don’t get is why they allow him to compete against women? Why don’t they just tell him no??

TeaForDad · 15/10/2018 14:58

So brave of her to fight for her rights despite how many people she has to upset.
Stunning and brave

definitely looks like the person in the middle is a bloke.

Galvantula · 15/10/2018 15:00

YANBU.

Even my 3 year old looked over at that photo on my phone and said "that's 2 ladies and a man". Really? I said, where's the man?

"In the middle mummy"

tillytrotter1 · 15/10/2018 15:01

Shows what a fiasco the transgender thing is when it's used to cheat, can't wait for the next Olympics.

BlackeyedSusan · 15/10/2018 15:01

it is bloody obvious from the photo that they have a male body compared to the other winners. I really do not understand why anyone thinks that this is not going to give them an advantage.

SlowlyShrinking · 15/10/2018 15:02

The trans thing is such a clever red herring! It’s not because he’s “trans” it’s because he’s not a woman, so therefore is ineligible to compete in a women’s race. It’s so obvious and so straightforward, but somehow everyone is doubting themselves

SlowlyShrinking · 15/10/2018 15:03

Unfortunately you just can't decide to compete as a woman because you think you are one

But, apparently, you can...

TwistedStitch · 15/10/2018 15:06

He's a cheat. I think women should boycott these events in future, let them race against themselves or any other male bodied people who are also cheats. Maybe if these races consist of a couple of blokes the organisers will have to rethink.

BlooperReel · 15/10/2018 15:10

Makes a mockery of the women (as in biologically so) who have trained so hard and been dedicated to their sport.

BlackeyedSusan · 15/10/2018 15:12

agree, not discrimination against trans as a trans man would be able to compete if their testosterone levels were ok. it is more taht he was born male, thus at an advantage physically.

I really really do not understand why people cannot see this. y chromosome=male. always male.

MrsGollach · 15/10/2018 15:14

Speechless. But angry.

Galvantula · 15/10/2018 15:23

Slowly yeah unfortunately only my opinion, not that of all the organisations hoodwinked by this bollocks.

This demand to compete as a women takes prizes and opportunities away from women. It's not transphobic to say that's unfair.

Identify as a windmill all you like, but where that encroaches on women's sports, female only spaces, all women shortlists etc, I'm afraid men shouldn't be able to automatically join in.

Galvantula · 15/10/2018 15:23

Testosterone is a red herring. Males have bigger hearts, bigger lungs etc etc. And what is plain and obvious to even a 3 year old, males are more powerfully built than females.
