The lady we know and love, who has brought us 30 Days Of Yoga, is starting a new series of sessions on YouTube from 1 January called .

This just might be the incentive I've been waiting for to establish a daily practice. Does anyone want to join me? Smile

Thanks Musician, I'll give that a try :)

Happy to share the offering of boobs rubber, though I'm in sore need myself. Would love to offer any excess body parts of my own but I'm afraid I'm generally known as 'Magical the stick insect'. If anyone wants a little ear or nose, feel free to ask but that's about it! Grin

Just went to a brief 30min Friday lunch class. Day 7 mail just arrived, will do that, too, later. My mum is staying over as she's in town attending a training. Will attempt to get her to join in - she's basically given up on her yoga practice and says she's feeling worse for it!

CoteDAzur · 08/01/2016 12:19

If anyone's offering excess boobs, I'll have some too, please Smile

Boobs for everyone! Believe me, there's enough to go round.

I've done Day 5, it was nice and slow. Really no problems with the lunges, but the seated poses were painful! I have very tight shoulders and an old rotator cuff injury, made worse by sleeping propped on pillows and carrying heavy shopping this morning. I ended up kneeling much earlier as even sitting crossed-legged on a cushion was tough. Sad. Feeling much better afterwards, though.

RhinestoneCowgirl · 08/01/2016 16:13

I have boobs aplenty to share if anyone wants some Grin. So much so that they do rather get in the way in child pose Blush

Expellibramus · 08/01/2016 20:26

Checking in on day 5 for me. Nice and slow apart from random foot and stomach cramps!

cece · 08/01/2016 20:36

I have excess boobs. Today I was asked by the teacher why I had come out of shoulder stand and plow early? - I couldn't breathe LOL!

When I do child's pose I keep my knees slightly apart to accommodate my boobage - otherwise it is rather uncomfortable.,

MagicalHamSandwich · 08/01/2016 21:21

Finished day 7. Lessons learned: loose trousers are no good for tree pose. I accidentally undressed myself by pulling my pajama bottoms down with my foot.

... luckily for me I've only ever worn leggings to public classes. Will keep on doing so and now I know why.

quirkychick · 08/01/2016 21:28

Grin Magical.

I usually wear leggings but if I have time first thing I will do it in my pyjamas, especially at the weekend.

MagicalHamSandwich · 08/01/2016 21:36

I actually own a varied selection of exercise and yoga leggings in a broad range of colours but do tend to practise in my pajamas when at home. Most of my bottoms are shorts or leggings, though. Hence the first time experience tonight.

I really should try wearing loose bottoms to class. My Wednesday teacher is hot - he might appreciate the sight of my perky bum unexpectedly exposed! Grin

Have done day 6 abs. Not as bad as I thought, but I'm sure I will hurt later!

RubberDuck · 09/01/2016 10:23

My abs are letting me know all about yesterday's practice this morning!!

Day 7 done. My tree pose was very lopsided today. Couldn't keep upright at all on the left side. Steady as a rock on the right - what's with that?!

I'm really hoping tomorrow's is a restorative one.

HerBigChance · 09/01/2016 12:44

I'm a few days behind and have just done day four. I find some of the poses difficult, lunges etc. Does this just get better with practice? I am a complete beginner.

bangbangprettypretty · 09/01/2016 12:49

So pleased to have found this thread, I love Adriene! Only saw she was doing yoga camp on Tues so I've started on day one and skipped day 3 and caught up with the rest!

Day seven done and feeling capable!

To the pp, everything does get easier after a few tries, I find when I'm menstrual my balance is all over the place though!

RubberDuck · 09/01/2016 12:50

HerBig: yes, it definitely does and I think you'll see progress fairly quickly as strength and body awareness increases. I think flexibility (in my experience) takes a little longer to notice improvements, but it does come.

Mostly, though, it's important to see it as a journey rather than a destination. There's always room to improve!

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 09/01/2016 13:15

Cosmic Kids is great! DD loves it.

Day 7 done, which wasn't too bad. Need to do day 8 this PM though to catch up on myself as I missed yesterday. I love doing yoga before bed - I used to think I was a morning exercise person, but I love feeling all loose and floppy at bedtime Smile

thegiddylimit · 09/01/2016 16:52

Just found this thread so did day 1 this morning. Disrupted half way through by the 6 and 3 year old who had a Brio Fight. Not pretty. But they then did several episodes of Cosmic Kids together which was spectacularly cute. Need to get up early tomorrow because the DDs have gymnastics in the morning (so another with DC who think the wheel pose is easy and DD1's eagle is the best I've ever seen, whereas I'm too short and curvy to wrap my legs round each other).

Day 1 felt very slow for me but that's because I've already been swimming and back to yoga this week, I think if I'd done it on the 2nd it might have been more appropriate!

Loved the 30 days when I did most of it in the summer, I like that after a hideous day she does an easy day and swaps things about a lot although she's keener on sun salutations than I am.

I'm generally an evening yogi, mornings is for swimming, we have a lovely pool 5 mins from work so I'm there at 6.30am and then can justify eating cake at work.

RhinestoneCowgirl · 09/01/2016 17:02

Did day 7 this morning. Balance is something I struggle with, my aim is to one day do tree pose without falling.

Can definitely feel the difference with my posture, and it's helping me keep calm at work Smile

Rummikub · 09/01/2016 17:13

Hello just joined and I've just done day 2. It was much harder than I was expecting. I used to be good at this!

Finally finished day 7 after beibg interrupted 7000 times by DH and DC. Will have to go back to getting up early tomorrow I think. Also struggled with tree on the right. Frustrating because I have done it in class many times.
