@UhtredRagnarson

Avon isnt an MLM as you dont have to buy products to sell on and you dont recruit people.

You absolutely do recruit people! That’s what the whole thing is about. You yourself will have been recruited.

I haven't been recruited, I dont work for Avon, I buy 20 quids worth of bubble baths once every couple of months. If i dont want to order, I dont order. I pay only for what I get.

Its not the MLM you think it is.

@KungFuPrincess I used “you” because you used “you”. I didn’t mean you specifically. And I’m sorry but you need to educate yourself on Avon and how it operates. It absolutely is what I have described. And it is an MLM. You may not have experienced it but that doesn’t meant it isn’t the case.

@KungFuPrincess

Are you absolutely sure that you understand the Avon business model?

@KungFuPrincess Avon absolutely is MLM. Whether you choose just to buy or not is not the definition of MLM.

Avoid!!!
Massively oversaturated marker. More sellers that customers at this point! Mlms are not the way forward!

I used to sell Avon a few years ago. Took over a round from a lady who’d done it whilst working part time but had then got a full time job. It was fun! I got to know loads of people locally and I did it for a couple of years until my work demands increased. The pay for the amount of hours put in was pretty rubbish really but I didn’t have to sell too much to start getting commission. I didn’t have to buy products or recruit people. I used to run two campaigns concurrently to minimise outlay for the brochures. I’ve not done it for a few years but I still get asked about it! Was great exercise-wise too - used to walk miles!!
