Team booked a meal out and I wasn’t invited!

So I work part time in an office where there are about 15 employees in total.
They all booked a meal out this evening ( paid by the company) and didn’t bother asking me whether I’d like to join them. There was no email going around to inform us all about the event.
A couple of the guys came in today well excited about the meal and said it out loud while one of my other colleagues was trying to make him aware that I’m not invited and to keep quiet.
I’ve been working there part time for two years and I really feel left out. I’m not bothered about the meal really..,it’s the principle. My own manager didn’t say anything to me. So upset!

I've wondered about this night out ever since!

@lovedarkchocolate, did it ever come up in conversation? Did you mention it to your manager? It's outrageous that he allowed it to happen (and given he organised, he did more than allow it to happen.)

@HollowTalk no i never mentioned it. They haven’t had other events since so hasn’t happened again since.
I let it go. I know I didn’t stand up for myself but I chose to not mention it as I need the job. It’s a small company and mentioning it would have made me stand out for the wrong reasons.

who,s want to go out for a meal with wankers like that. Be greatful. I take it you dont smell? lol... i take it they stink though. Rise above, they dont really mean anything to each other, bit like the apprectice. Works work, earn the dollars and go home. Means to an end. I bet your the only nice person in the office. Whats there line of business? Animal welfare dont tell me, or Famine relief workers.....its not Unison??? lol.
