We are delighted to be announcing Woolly Hugs’ Easter Craft Sale to raise funds for the fabulous charity MIND.

MIND is a charity dedicated to supporting anyone experiencing a mental health problem. They offer sound information, advice and support to individuals, and also campaign tirelessly to raise public awareness and promote understanding of issues relating to mental health. To read more about the fantastic work they do, read on here.

Here's how...
We are going to run an online Easter Craft sale in a very similar way to our successful Christmas craft fundraiser. All funds raised will be donated to MIND.

We'd love your help...
We are looking to make and sell small/lightweight Eastery/Spring/gorgeous items, sewn, crocheted, knitted, crafted, the how is up to you! To keep postage costs to a minimum we ask that ideally anything made can be sent on to a buyer in a Large envelope, which is 35cm by 25cm, no thicker than 2.5cm, 750g max. Or smaller obvs :)

Some suggestions for you but we are open to others

• Easter decorations - chicks, eggs, sheeeeps, rabbits.
• Easter/spring bunting
• Brooches
• Other Stuff???!!!

It all worked out very nicely in the end.

OK - so if I did do something more, erm... substantial... as long as the purchase price could easily incorporate the increased postage, that would be OK?

Mind you, who am I kidding, with all the stuff I already intend to knit and crochet to send off by 28th March, I had better get a move on or there won't be time to finish anything.

I LOVE all the creations! So cute! I want a chocolate egg cover!

Have cobbled together some acrylic brooch type things and some rings and hair clips, but I'm going to have to try a different glue as the glue I bought didn't stick the acrylic chick to the metal badge back. Grrr. Anyone used E6000 glue before? Going to try that next.

Tiny cross stitched Easter cards made by the very lovely Kettricken, beautiful and so much detail, just amazing :)

Each card is approx 11cm by 9cm (except for the last which is 15cm by 20cm ) and comes with an envelope. Huge thanks.

Awwwww, thanks today to Ruby for a gorgeous Ruby Rabbit and a really cute hairband for our craft sale, pics already on Facebook.

Was out and arrived home to find the Posty had done very well getting most of it through the door (including RR, hope she didn't hurt her ears) but there is one parcel that was too big and is at the sorting office. I am out again tomorrow, but hope to get on Saturday, if not definitely on Monday.

So if you were hoping for something to have arrived, it nearly has :)
