We are delighted to be announcing Woolly Hugs’ Easter Craft Sale to raise funds for the fabulous charity MIND.

MIND is a charity dedicated to supporting anyone experiencing a mental health problem. They offer sound information, advice and support to individuals, and also campaign tirelessly to raise public awareness and promote understanding of issues relating to mental health. To read more about the fantastic work they do, read on here.

Here's how...
We are going to run an online Easter Craft sale in a very similar way to our successful Christmas craft fundraiser. All funds raised will be donated to MIND.


We'd love your help...
We are looking to make and sell small/lightweight Eastery/Spring/gorgeous items, sewn, crocheted, knitted, crafted, the how is up to you! To keep postage costs to a minimum we ask that ideally anything made can be sent on to a buyer in a Large envelope, which is 35cm by 25cm, no thicker than 2.5cm, 750g max. Or smaller obvs :)


Some suggestions for you but we are open to others

• Easter decorations - chicks, eggs, sheeeeps, rabbits.
  
• Easter/spring bunting
  
• Brooches
  
• Other Stuff???!!!

  If you’d like to contribute funds to help others craft, then we’d love to hear from you. Our paypal is [email protected] and make sure you add a contact name and note that it is for MIND.
  
  The Sale itself will take place during the week beginning Monday 6th April, actual dates to be confirmed, it will be run through our Facebook page MNWoollyHugs. All details we will share on here, on FB and Twitter @MNWoollyHugs nearer the time.

I posted off some stuff for the sale today (along with some squares). Post office woman laughed at me when I asked if they'd reach you by saturday or monday, and said 'nah love, you'll be lucky if they get there by next weekend with second class!' so hopefully they will reach you before the end of time.

I've just posted my package - 3 items for the MIND Easter Sale, a Little Hug, pair of Angel Teds, and 3 lots of blanket squares. Phew! Just made the deadline again.

Pistey, I have access to a laser cutter and a lovely boss who said I could use all the acrylic scraps as it's for a Very Good Cause. So I drew one and cut some out before he changed his mind.

Either the usual Woolly yarns or Stylecraft special dk which is our recommended yarn for Little Hugs and Billie's blankets.
