We are delighted to be announcing Woolly Hugs’ Easter Craft Sale to raise funds for the fabulous charity MIND.

MIND is a charity dedicated to supporting anyone experiencing a mental health problem. They offer sound information, advice and support to individuals, and also campaign tirelessly to raise public awareness and promote understanding of issues relating to mental health. To read more about the fantastic work they do, read on here.

“We’re here to make sure no one has to face a mental health problem alone.” MIND

We’d love to help them.

Here's how...
We are going to run an online Easter Craft sale in a very similar way to our successful Christmas craft fundraiser. All funds raised will be donated to MIND.

We'd love your help...
We are looking to make and sell small/lightweight Eastery/Spring/gorgeous items, sewn, crocheted, knitted, crafted, the how is up to you! To keep postage costs to a minimum we ask that ideally anything made can be sent on to a buyer in a Large envelope, which is 35cm by 25cm, no thicker than 2.5cm, 750g max. Or smaller obvs :)

Some suggestions for you but we are open to others

  • Easter decorations - chicks, eggs, sheeeeps, rabbits.
  • Easter/spring bunting
  • Brooches
  • Other Stuff???!!!

Last posting for crafts to be FRIDAY 28th MARCH Thanks
    Please PM for posting information.

If you’d like to contribute funds to help others craft, then we’d love to hear from you. Our paypal is [email protected] and make sure you add a contact name and note that it is for MIND.

The Sale itself will take place during the week beginning Monday 6th April, actual dates to be confirmed, it will be run through our Facebook page MNWoollyHugs. All details we will share on here, on FB and Twitter @MNWoollyHugs nearer the time.

Huge thanks once again. Fingers crossed this will be a great success and we can help the lovely folk at MIND help even more lovely folk.

Thanks Thanks Thanks Thanks Thanks Thanks

Thanks Knotty, I've got some Stylecraft so I think a Little Hug might be next due to my sketchy crochet skills.

You're doing a fab job you two Thanks Thanks - I hope you raise lots of £££. I'm in awe of the creations on the thread - tres magnifique!

I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to Woolly for this extraordinary knitted Nativity set she has lovingly made ( the DETAIL!!) for our Christmas Craft fundraiser later this year.

Whoever ends up with this, will have something truly beautiful to treasure through the years.

What lovely things, I've just been having a look!!

There is a fab silver wool flower brooch with three black beads in the centre made by ComfyLeatherChair, but how would I buy it as I'm not on Facebook?
