We are delighted to be announcing Woolly Hugs’ Easter Craft Sale to raise funds for the fabulous charity MIND.

MIND is a charity dedicated to supporting anyone experiencing a mental health problem. They offer sound information, advice and support to individuals, and also campaign tirelessly to raise public awareness and promote understanding of issues relating to mental health. To read more about the fantastic work they do, read on here.

“We’re here to make sure no one has to face a mental health problem alone.” MIND

We’d love to help them.

Here's how...
We are going to run an online Easter Craft sale in a very similar way to our successful Christmas craft fundraiser. All funds raised will be donated to MIND.

We'd love your help...
We are looking to make and sell small/lightweight Eastery/Spring/gorgeous items, sewn, crocheted, knitted, crafted, the how is up to you! To keep postage costs to a minimum we ask that ideally anything made can be sent on to a buyer in a Large envelope, which is 35cm by 25cm, no thicker than 2.5cm, 750g max. Or smaller obvs :)

Some suggestions for you but we are open to others

  • Easter decorations - chicks, eggs, sheeeeps, rabbits.
  • Easter/spring bunting
  • Brooches
  • Other Stuff???!!!

Last posting for crafts to be FRIDAY 28th MARCH Thanks
Please PM for posting information.

If you’d like to contribute funds to help others craft, then we’d love to hear from you. Our paypal is [email protected] and make sure you add a contact name and note that it is for MIND.

The Sale itself will take place during the week beginning Monday 6th April, actual dates to be confirmed, it will be run through our Facebook page MNWoollyHugs. All details we will share on here, on FB and Twitter @MNWoollyHugs nearer the time.

Huge thanks once again. Fingers crossed this will be a great success and we can help the lovely folk at MIND help even more lovely folk.

Thanks Thanks Thanks Thanks Thanks Thanks

I have emailed a pic of a dolly to you.

MrsKwazii · 01/03/2014 15:22

Who's this Keazzi person then? If they swoop in and deprive me of birdies I will be most displeased Angry Wink Grin

RatherBeOnThePiste · 02/03/2014 11:20

In my mind Keazzi would be pronounced Queasy.

RatherBeOnThePiste · 02/03/2014 11:21

No doubt some sort of Woolly Thief MrsK, keep your wits about you!

Morning Brew :)

RatherBeOnThePiste · 02/03/2014 11:32

We have a fabulous donor to thank, your donation has arrived safely with us, and we are SO grateful Thanks

Count me in again. Not quite sure yet what I will do though...

(Sorry to be a pain but Royal Mail Large Letter is 35cm x 25cm not 35cm x 35cm.)

RatherBeOnThePiste · 02/03/2014 12:34

Arse Sad

Have just reported it to MNHQ and asked if they could change it for us.

Thanks
PurpleFrog · 02/03/2014 13:53

Pistey, I don't spend all my time trying to pick holes in your instructions, honestly! Blush But I eBay, so the dimensions of Large Letter are hard-wired into my brain! The website will need changing as well.

RatherBeOnThePiste · 02/03/2014 16:28

Lovely AmyMN has changed the OP, bless her and I've just done the website. Hopefully all is well now!

Thanks
MrsKwazii · 02/03/2014 18:57

RatherBeOnThePiste · 03/03/2014 09:53

Huge thanks to the very lovely Woolfey for her donation, received safely earlier. You are a star bless your heart. THANK YOU Thanks

RatherBeOnThePiste · 03/03/2014 09:55

All sounds just fabulous Woolfey thank you so much. Thanks

I cannot tell you how quick and easy those teeny bunnies are. Am making another string in turquoise, pomegranate, violet and I think it's saffron. Tis the yellow what came with the attic 24 pack. I think.

Then I have an idea for comedy chooks Grin

RatherBeOnThePiste · 03/03/2014 09:56

Oooooo, and I can post a pic of Knotty's adorable birdie brooch. Hang about....
