Support thread 2 - new blankets

This is a continuation of our thread supporting MNers creating blanket squares for Woolly Hugs. All are welcome and I'm hoping to post a link soon to a collection of our fave patterns, pics and links to keep them all in one place. In the meantime, this new thread will allow phone-based MNers like RedRosie to return from Special Phone Exile where she goes whenever the thread has too many messages on.

This is a thread of peace where knitters and crocheters, donors and crafters are all equally welcome.

Ooh, I'm tempted to do one more square in a two colour pattern sits on hands

I've found a three-colour check slip-stitch pattern in my Big Fat Knitting Book that looks interesting.....

I know what you mean, bird. I've been fighting off doing the candy cane square from 200 Knitted Blocks, despite having a gazillion projects to do, including red face cloths for ds' summer (ha ha) fair at the end of the month.

One of the ones I meant to do this time was the linoleum dishcloth but didn't get around to it.

Btw I should also say Rosie is reading and not posting, so it's open season on taking the proverbial out of her for the next few days

Any tips on sewing up the windmill bag? I'm near the end of panel 3, so getting there, and for one it'd be nice not to make a complete hash of the sewing.
