I've just heard the sad news about Magic8ballhasstheanswers leaving 6mo twins and a 4yo Sad

If anybody would like to show their condolences, post here and we'll organise it. I'll take on construction again unless someone else would like a turn?

IvySedai (who messaged me to let me know) is happy to co-ordinate so PM's from Donors and Crafters needing a match to her please.

Previous squares were 6", knitted or crocheted. Blues, pinks and purples were the most popular colours. Debbie Bliss Cashmerino or Rowan Cashsoft DK (links are just the first ones I found on google) It's also available in John Lewis.

Lastly, was there anything in particular that Magic liked and could be incorporated in the design?

IMPORTANT NOTICE

No one is under any obligation to do more than one square. In fact, no one is under any obligation to do anything at all.

We're all different. One person may have years of experience and plenty of free time, therefore do multiple squares. Another person might have to do three stitches then drop it to attend to a toddler's needs.

All efforts are appreciated

That is all for now

I have run out of wool with four rows to go of my third square Sad - thumbwitch has ordered me two balls of the same wool for the cheese/WTW project and I had hoped it would come by now so I could pinch a bit to finish this last square.

I will post the 2 which are done today and hope the wool turns up by Friday so I can complete and post the third. If it doesn't come by then I will forward that square with the others I will make for the WTW/cheese project.

Hello ladies!

Just ducking in to see how things are going. My laptop went bang-fizz just after I posted the wool to my knitter so I have no idea if it got there. Does anyone know? I sent a ball of green wool with a card in the jiffy bag.

Hope you're all well and that your fingers aren't getting tired. :)

BupcakesandCunting · 06/09/2011 13:57

Tired from the knitting, not anything else. Blush

Georgimama · 06/09/2011 14:05

BupcakesandCunting · 06/09/2011 14:55

It was unintentional. I just realised that it sounded a bit "ooh matron" after I pressed post. Blush

Honest.

I think I'm having techno meltdown - because I've checked both my email addresses and can't see anything.

Its not something tricksy in my personal settings that I need to do to receive a message, is it?

Alternatively, provided that it isn't a name changer I know Littlefish, who I think was on this thread so will email her directly - apologies for utter cack handedness on technology front. Perhaps I should be moving across to Gransnet. Grin
